Kanpur University (CSJMU) UG Courses Admission 2020: Entrance Exam, Application form, Result, Admit Card

Latest Update: The admission process of BBA., BCA., BPT/BMLT/BMM, B.COM (Hons) & D.Pharma., offered by CSJM is completed on September 30, 2020. CSJM will release the counselling schedule of BA-LL.B., LL.B. & B.P.Ed. courses later on the website.

CSJMU Admission Dates 2020

CSJMU offers a cluster of courses at UG level in the field of Engineering, Management, Arts, Computer Application, Commerce, Library & Information Science, Education, Science, Medical, Law, Pharmacy, Fine Arts and Hotel Management. All these courses are offered in full-time mode at CSJMU campus as well as in the affiliated colleges.

10+2 in the relevant subject group is the minimum eligibility criteria for these courses. For B.P.Ed., B.Lib. & I.Sc. and LLB, caniddates must have a Bachelor’s degree in related stream.

B.Tech., B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. aspirants must qualify for the UPSEE exam to be eligible for admission at CSJMU. For MBBS and BDS, candidates must have a valid NEET UG score. Admission to BUMS and BAMS is as per AYUSH Entrance Test.

Candidates can submit the application form through online mode available on CSJMU website. For online application form, the candidates have to submit the application fee of amount INR 600 and INR 400 (for SC/ST category candidates). Check Kanpur University (CSJMU) Result & Admit Card 

Candidates willing to fill in the application form of the University can do so online.

Admission to certain courses will comprise of an entrance exam.

• Candidates can visit the university website- “www.kanpuruniversity.org”
• Click on the university entrance exam link.
• Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before filling the application form.
• Candidates have to submit the application fee of amount Rs. 600/- (for general and OBC category candidates) and Rs. 400/- (for SC/ST category candidates).
• Fees should be paid through Credit card/Debit Card/Payment Gateway/Net banking
• After filling all the details in the form candidate can click on the “submit” button.

The fee can be paid by using Credit/Debit card or Net Banking. 

Candidates applying for courses through UPSEE scores need to first fill in the UPSEE application form from the official website. After which the candidates need to visit the official website of CSJM University and fill in the University’s application form.

Candidates appearing for the Entrance Test can download the admit card from the official website when available. Once the same has been downloaded, candidates are advised to take a printout of the admit card and keep it safe.

Admission to UG courses is based on Entrance Exam conducted by CSJMU except some of the courses which requires the following exam scores.

For B.Tech., B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. – Admission is based on the candidate's performance in UPSEE. There will be no negative marking. But a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately. 
UPSEE will comprise of objective type questions. All Papers shall be OMR based Tests only. 

The cut-off percentage of marks in UPSEE-2020 for the merit of successful candidates is 25% (20% for SC/ST) as per UP State Govt.order. UPSEE will be held on Spetember 20, 2020.

The qualified candidates must bring the following enclosures at the time of admission:

1. Original Certificates of 10th class and 12th class with at least two photocopies of each
2. Original certificate/degree of the qualifying exams
3. Original Admit Card with the photocopy for the same
4. Rank Card
5. Bank Draft as per university guidelines
6. Category certificate issued by the authority
7. Medical Certificate issued by the authorized doctor
8. 4-6 Passport size photographs

For MBBS and BDS - Admission to these courses is based on a valid score in NEET UG exam. It is an offline exam.

There will be negative for incorrect response. The syllabus include subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany). NEET UG will be conducted on September 13, 2020.

For BUMS and BAMS - Selection to BUMS and BAMS is done as per the AYUSH Entrance Test. It is an objective type test which is conducted in an online mode. 

There will be negative marking for an incorrect answer.

• Seats will be reserved for candidates according to the uttar pradesh government rules.
• Reserved category candidates must attach their attested true copy of reservation certificate with the application form
• ST vacant seats shall be transferred to SC category and SC vacant seats shall be transferred to OBC category
