Since its inception in 1988, UOW College has graduated more than 30,000 students from 70 different countries across the globe. Presently, the university offers more than 400 undergraduate (bachelor) and postgraduate coursework and research degrees to national and international students. The University of Wollongong was recognized among the world’s best institutions for teaching excellence with a Spotlight Award in the 2020 Global Teaching Excellence Award.

UOW College Accommodation

UOW College offers on-campus accommodation as well as in the Wollongong CBD. More than 6,00 international students stay at the residents. Students can also opt for homestay or private rental. They also provide information for homestay and private rental accomodation.

An eligible first-year students is guaranteed a place in UOW residence. A free airport pick-up service from Sydney International Airport to all newly enrolled international students as well as students who are arriving in australia for the first time.

  • More than 2000 resident rooms are available for accommodation.
  • In UOW residence, there are six locations Weerona, international house, campus east, Kooloobong village, Bangalay, and Marketview. You can either opt for a kitchen or without a kitchen.
  • Residences are connected with free shuttle buses.
  • The cost of accommodation varies from 200AUD - 300AUD.

UOW College Programs

More than 270 undergraduate courses, 130 graduate programs are offered to the students. It offers pathway programs and vocational courses for admission to University of Wollongong.

  • The programs are offered in the field of Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Medical and Health Sciences, Nursing, Science, Arts, Social Science, fitness, and Screen and Media, etc.
  • The courses are offered at the five campuses in Australia are different from each other, whereas online courses are available for every domestic as well as international students.
  • South Western Sydney campus only offers diploma and English Language courses.

UOW College Application Process

Admission can be done online or through a representative agent at UOW. The process of admission and supporting documents all of the information is mentioned below:

Admission deadlines: Admission takes place in summer, spring, and autumn sessions. The spring session enrolment will take place from 21 June to 25 June. Every campus has different deadlines.
Eligibility: A student must be over 18 years of age.
Admission Requirements:

  • Scanned copies of original academic records, marksheets or transcripts
  • Completed Application
  • English Langugae proficiency test scores whose first language is not English
  • Other supporting documents as per programs requirements

How to apply:

  • Apply for an online application
  • Complete the international application form and attach supporting documents with it.
  • Then, submit it within the intake dates.
  • You’ll receive an email with the status of your application within few weeks.
  • If your application is accepted then you can accept their acceptance letter.
