My college experience

T
7.3 /10

This college is the best for my degree. They offer hands on placement within the first few years of your my degree in which is ideal when entering a the teaching force. The university has a strong focus on ethics and not just intelligence in which I admire about the college.

Course Curriculum :

I find the curriculum very enjoyable. I like how they have now put the standards up for people going into the teaching force. It is now expected that before teachers graduate they must undertake a test and finish college with a minimum GPA.

Exams :

I have undertaken the HSC, which is the high school curriculum. I am no at University working towards getting a GPA and therefore my bachelor's certificate

Placement :

The placements and job opportunities at my university are amazing. For my degree, I have to do a placement within the first year to gain experience before continuing on with my degree. Practicals are also a major highlight to the university for students studying nursing etc.

Internship :

I am sure my college provides internships. I saw a job opening for an internship within the administration part of the university itself which I thought to be of great convenience to a student. The hands-on work is great at my college.

Events :

My college is a Catholic university so there is always food stands etc appreciating many different religious aspects. There is also a lot of sporting teams at my college in which are celebrated. All faculties usually have something to celebrate.

Fees :

I pay fees based on my units and these fees are HECsd. I also have to pay individual student fees in which go towards things like the up keeping of the college.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure is good. I have to take a lot of exams in order to test my suitability to become a teacher in which I think necessary. I take a lot of different forms of exams from quizzes, to essays to written exams.

Faculty :

The faculty of my college is very helpful and one on one. Some of the faculties, however, do not reply within a reasonable time which is a little frustrating at times. Other then that, I find the one on one very helpful, especially for the degree I'm studying.

Hostel :

I currently live near my university with a family member away from home. I find this to be extremely helpful and Beneficial to my studies. I think I would find it hard to live independently although I have heard that it?s amazing to do so on-campus accommodation.
