#1 in Australia, #32 in the world, gotta get the prestige, my friend. But in all seriousness, I chose UNIMELB because with the course I'm doing it offered lectures at hospitals and therefore hands-on experience in an undergrad doctors degree.
Course Curriculum :
Very difficult but it is all relevant to our future careers as doctors. There's a basic first year with maths, physics, chemistry, biology, and experimental design. Then in the second year, we get to look more at humans, applying the basics we learned in the first year. Then in 3rd year, we choose our majors.
Exams :
I did VCE and scored a 92.3 to get into biomedicine. I was only accepted because I'm from a rural background and I went to a very poor school.
Placement :
Job opportunities for biomedicine are endless! That's why I'm so excited to be in the course because you don't have to be a doctor at the end of it. There are research opportunities or even a Ph.D. in further studies. So many amazing discoveries have come out of UNIMELB PhD.
Internship :
Not for my course. However, it does in post-grad medicine which my course leads into. In the third and 4th years, the course is mainly based on experience. After the course, the University helps students to get internships.

Fees :
$300 amenities fee for each semester, $10000 for the first year, (exponentially more for further years).
Examination Structure :
Pretty good. You get to choose your exam timetable based on your own availability so that?s really good. Some subjects have longer or shorter exams so it can be hard to not get clashes, however, I haven't found it difficult.
Faculty :
So friendly! I was not expecting this though. Everyone is willing to help each other out and everyone is really passionate and truly wants to be in the degree.
