I particularly chose this university as it is known for its reputation and one of the highest ranking universities in Australia and the world. It has a good quality of education as well as the structure of most of the buildings played a part in my decision to go to the University of Sydney.
Course Curriculum :
I overall believe the course curriculum is good with several opportunities to gain help if I don't understand something. However, it is a bit difficult to get 600 hours of engineering and non-engineering focused and work experience in the given time frame as well as reflect on each of these things.
Fees :
The fees structure is good for domestic students like myself. Giving us loans as well as a smaller fees to pay compared to international students. I only have to pay the fees once I get a stable job.
Examination Structure :
The exams are all done in the exam period which is mid term and final exams. They usually last around 1-3 hours depending on the course and can be either multiple choice, mixed or long answers. Overall the exam structure is good.
Faculty :
The faculty is great as they often are given new opportunities that we can take part in like networking events or conferences that we can watch, which not only add to my pep hours but is also a great opportunity to network with people and get internships.
