I completed my class 12 under CBSE board in commerce and had plans of pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce abroad. To get information regarding various universities abroad I visited a career fair in my city where I got to know about this college. For applying to the courses of the college I was required to complete the student application.

    Fees :

My dad paid around $530,000 for the course.

One of the best universities. The instructors are amazing. The peers are really helpful! I applied to 3 colleges; and I got in all of them. But the reason for choosing uvic was that I trust them for my course. My 12th-grade scores on a whole was 90%. I only gave $100 (CAD) for processing my letter of acceptance, the application was done online. You might face a little problem using the website initially but u can ask for help! And when u get the hang of it... it's awesome! Amazing opportunities for everyone!

    Fees :

Yes, there are scholarship but they're hard to get. I'm not sure about the amount for the same but it depends really... you have to pay in advance for the fee and you can get a refund if you pay extra or you drop a course. My fee is about 15,000$(CAD) for a semester mostly. You also have to pay a little extra for co-op but the benefit of more than the cost!

Close to home, friends and family and a great city and well respected school. Transferred to this school from another because it had a great reputation for teaching as well as community. Easy application process and average fees to apply. Went into this school after 1.5 years at a different university.

    Fees :

Tuition is generally around $550 per course or $650 per computer science or engineering courses along with $400 for medical and dental (unless you opt-out) and about $200 per semester in student fees and $80 per semester on a bus pass (required) as well as athletic fees and others. Usually, if you're in a full course load not with engineering it is around $6000 per year

I chose this program because the admission process was really simple. All you had to do was submit your marks and if they were high enough, you got accepted. The application fees were the cheapest compared to any of the other universities I applied to (mostly Ontario universities). I chose this university because it gives me an easier path into the profession.

    Fees :

The tuition for my program is just over $8000. This does not include the prices of textbooks. I am in need of financial aid, so I will be receiving student loans from the BC government totalling around $70,000. There are no real hard criteria to receive this loan. All you need is to be a student in a credential institution and to not drop out.

Uvic is my hometown university which I have always planned to attend as a result of cheaper expenses while living at home. I also applied at the University of Alberta but then decided to stay home to keep living costs lower. While applying to the two combined schools I spent $200 on application fees.

    Fees :

I received a scholarship from the school for my grades. The fee of my program is around 6,000 per year, however, it had not been necessary for me to take out any loans. 1st year I received an entrance scholarship of $2,000 and have applied for many other scholarships which I have not heard back from.

Got to know the college through looking at the QS rankings and a wide variety of online websites. The admission was relatively straightforward, apply online, choose program and pay the application fee. Applied to a total of 3 universities. Felt this was the perfect university considering the research output and for my Grade 12 mark of 90%.

    Fees :

The fee structure is per course. For an international student, the average fees for a course is roughly 2.5k dollars Entrance scholarships worth 2000 dollars are available for international students. In course scholarships are also available depending on the GPA. Tuition fee for business and engineering courses are generally higher than the regular courses.

$5000/year entrance scholarship, if I keep a 3.3 GPA. There were fees per credit taken, along with student fees, athletic fees, transit pass fees, student body fees, etc. I worked throughout high school to save money, as well as had some help from my parents in my first year. In subsequent years. I did internships which helped me save enough money for tuition.

Because of the exceptional staff, friendly students and the overall environment. In my first year here I made friends learned a lot about the world and myself. Uvic does a great job of ensuring students have a great academic and non-academic experience.

    Fees :

You pay tuition and residence fees before each term. International fees are more expensive than domestic ones.

It had the program I wanted, affordable, and close to home. I felt that it was a decent size and that it would be a good university to have on my CV. I find the campus to be very beautiful as well as the people very easy to collaborate with!

    Fees :

You pay tuition by end of the first day of your new semester. It is around three thousand dollars a semester but you get charged for random things like being a day late to hand in your tuition check and parking is awful. Very few classes have a materials charge.

I had previously checked out the campus, and known that it is a beautiful campus with tons of nature around. The school is not too big, so not overwhelming at all. Everyone in the city is very friendly and it is a great location to live.

    Fees :

Tuition for a semester is based on the number of courses taken. Each class costs around $500-600. If you are taking 5 courses, total is around $6300 a semester. The other charges include dental & health care coverage, bus pass, athletics, and Uvic student society fee.
