There were two strong reasons behind choosing the IVEY Business School for undergoing 1 year program in MBA which can be mentioned here :- 1) The Business School is one of its kind which deploys case learning method in every class apart from teaching from the conventional methodology. It helps you to uderstand the contemporary business world and shapes you to take the challenges ahead. 2) The strong alumni network of the Business School across Canada that would help getting desired job. I my opinion , making out for a job in Canada requires a strong alumni connection

I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do in my life. Originally I wanted to be a dermatologist which would give me the freedom of any undergrad. I was originally accepted to all the universities I applied to for bio or biochem (as I loved bio). I got to thinking and knew bio was not a great degree to have if I didn't get into med school. A friend's relative is an actuary and the more she told me about it as well as when I took grade 12 calculus and fell in love with math I knew it was for me. Western was the only of the 4 schools I applied to where my major wasn't set in stone as well they offered me a 10,000 scholarship.

I opted for this college because it is well known in my area and a fantastic option for my location. My older sibling came here first. My admissions average was 85% in my top 6 university-level grade 12 courses. The admission process was easy and I only applied to western universities and affiliating colleges.

I knew this college was good because previous family members had attended it. Also, the admission process was very smooth. The school tuition fee fits my budget. Overall, I chose to attend the University of Western Ontario because I have heard outstanding feedback from alumni and I do not regret my decision.

I liked this particular college due to the reputation of the science program. This school is very prestigious and has a medical and dental school on the campus itself. There are many opportunities to get involved whether it be for co-curricular activities or academics.

The program at Western offers a general first year instead of immediate specialization in the discipline of Engineering of your choice. This allowed me to experience a little bit of them all in order to better decide which one I actually want to specialize in.

This school was the perfect distance from home (1 hour) and has a beautiful campus and lively student social life. The downtown has great stores and restaurants and the school is a great size (big, but not too big).

Students applying for admission in the master programs of Western University must have a minimum of 70% overall average in the last 2 full-time years of the undergraduate degree. Besides the GPA requirement there are certain program-specific requirements as well.
