I opted for this college through referrals from my relatives and they did the application process include the fees. I am an international student from Guyana and my highschool was ranked 4th in the country. The reason I came here to join was because of my relatives and the course I selected was something to be basic so I can fit in as a student internationally without any problems.

    Fees :

My tution fees were 7500 per semester and i did four semesters with no scholarships. The fees were paid by my aunt at the beginning of each semester however these fees did not include text books required for each course so i had to purchase these separately and each course's text book costs around 150 dollars.

I am a student from Mumbai who has done her graduation in bachelors of mass media specialising in advertising. I further worked in the same field and really enjoyed it. My will to learn more about this field led me to study this course which was available in Humber college. The course and the college both are pretty remowened and are located at a prime location in Toronto which increases scope for job opportunities leading me to take this decision. I got to know about this college through my career counsellor and then personal research was done. It had an application fee for $100 which I had to pay to be considered for admission.

    Fees :

The fees was $9000 per semester. International scholarship was very limited. However, fees in Canada is much lesser than other countries like UK and Australia which is also a reason why me and a lot of other students consider Canada as an option to study and work in even after the harsh weather conditions that it has.

The variety of courses is what attracted me the most at Humber College. Looking at all the customized courses, I decided to take admission to this college only. As I wasn't sure about the specific field I wanted to study. I gave my application in two to three courses. I applied for the college with the help of an online application. It cost me around $75.

    Fees :

The fee structure for my course is $18000. My monthly miscellaneous expenses sum up to $700. Scholarships are available for the freshman. Some of them are application-based where each of us is eligible to avail the opportunity.

Since my cousin's brother completed his studies from this college. She suggested me to study here. She told me that Humber College offers great programs that can help to build my career. Thus after research work, I decided to take admission to the college.

    Fees :

By paying around $4500 as the tuition for a semester I was given admission to the college. Some of the scholarships like Diavik Diamond Mines, Enbridge Pipelines, The Royal Canadian Legion Alberta, ATCO Continuous Academic Effort Scholarships, and ATCO Developmental Studies Scholarships are available to me.

Humber is one of the most diverse and globally known colleges because of its international participation. I came to their website while looking for colleges in Canada and their programs are no doubt very impressive. It has a great acceptance rate as well as accepts diverse students so I took a chance and applied to it.

    Fees :

The tuition fee has to be paid per semester which is around $8710. Adding to this, there is an ancillary fee of $495 as well which is compulsory to be paid. There are scholarships available to avail. Some of them are academic-based scholarship and others are entrance based scholarships.

One of my friends had suggested this college. The application process was done by one of the agencies I applied through. I chose this college as it had a 2 years certificate course related to my background. Humber professors bring a wealth of relevant industry experience to the classroom. Class sizes are small, and simulation labs and work placements bridge the gap between classroom and industry. We put theory into practice from day one, which is important because work-integrated learning means you will have experience working in your industry before you graduate.

    Fees :

The fee structure for international students was generally high. For my 1st semester, I had paid $8000 and the same was for the rest of my 3 semesters. The fees also included medical insurance for international students as well as charges for the books and other resources provided by the college.

I researched and found it best. I had searched about at least 30 colleges and compared their fee structure, their distance from where I was going to live and the cost of travelling. I also compared the courses these colleges offered and I found Humber college the best alternative. This college offered so many courses and the Business school in Humber is very famous and the graduates from Humber college are very much preferred by employers. I love business and want to study professionally about it.

    Fees :

The fee structure is semester system and I paid the semester fee in the middle time of the current semester. For international students, the fees iare$1000 per course and each course are worth 3 credits. The tuition fee for my program is around $7500. My parents took loans to pay my fees and some of it was arranged by me. As for scholarships, international students do get scholarships and help from college.

I chose this particular course as it was a new and interesting course work which had good demand in the Toronto job market. The admission process wasn't difficult as it was the course's first year, I just need my Bachelor's scores and IELTS scores to apply. My background is in electronics and telecommunication engineering. Humber was the only college offering this course and also the campus I got (North Campus) was very facilitated with a huge library.

    Fees :

Since I had a PG diploma course, scholarships were not available as it was only a 1-year course. The fee structure was quite simple and we had to pay before the semester starts. My tuition fee was around 15,000 CAD for 2 full semesters. One of my colleagues got a scholarship from FITC, a private organization which organizes some of the biggest events.

it was nearby my house and I was not planning on going anywhere else. I wanted to stay in the country because I still wanted to come home and sleep in my bed. I didn't want to go and leave the province for my education.

    Fees :

the cost was not as expensive as it would have been if I were to go to other schools. since I go home every day and I eat at home I save a bunch of dollars

Humber college is the only school that offers a bachelor program for paralegal studies! I wanted to get a degree so I could have the potential to carry on to law school but also get a substantial legal education.

    Fees :

Tuition was paid by semester, there was a deposit amount and then final payment. Other fees included textbooks and school materials. Many courses requires a textbook but this text will be useful in future practice so is worth the fee.

Ques. Which college is the best among Humber, Conestoga, Sheridan, George Brown or Centennial?

    ● Top Answer By Keshav Jindal on 29 Jul 21

Ans. Looking at the available options, Sheridan is the best choice. It is often regarded as a strict college but the quality of education offered is the best. You will be offered the best placement offers after graduation. My sister went to Sheridan College and she enjoyed every bit of her academic career. Check the following points to know more about it: The college has the best staff members who are very reliable and supportive. They will help you with anything and everything. Sheridan College offers amazing resources on the campus. You will have access to employment services, counseling services, time management services, and ALS services. All of this would be free of cost! The campus is close to amenities like Grocery stores and transit services. You will not have a problem with any of this. There is an amazing library available in the college wherein you can book a private room all for yourself or group studies. This list can go on and on, however, there are a few cons as well. You will never find a quiet place to study. The private rooms are always booked at the library and it becomes difficult to study on the campus. This might be the only issue that you will face at Sheridan College. All in all, you will never regret choosing Sheridan College. It will give you a sense of belonging and you will love your faculty members and peers.Read more

Ques. Which one is better for studying in Canada? York University or Humber college? (take into consideration Humber college is a lot cheaper in tuition fees)

    ● Top Answer By Tezal Dahiya on 13 Jan 21

Ans. As both are good colleges, there is no right answer to this question. Humber College ranks #20 and is among the Top 50 Research Colleges in Canada. It is also a lot cheaper if you compare a Humbler diploma and a York degree. If you are comparing equivalent credentials, there might not be a difference at all. A quick check online shows York's domestic undergrad fee to be $7,743. At Humber, a degree is $7,737.84. So tuition wise, there is not too much difference. Humber College also provides 28 undergraduate courses whereas York university has a staggering 106. No. Of scholarships provided by Humber and York is 25 and 27 respectively. As far as degrees are concerned, York would be better known as a degree-granting institution. However, others might value the more practical content of a degree from a community college (technically, Humber is now an Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, but few people know that and still fewer could explain the significance). Here’s a factual comparison between the two: Content Humber College York University Average Attendance Cost $12,924 $24,312 Acceptance Rate 28.4% 50.5% Student Faculty Ratio 98:1 37:1 Exam Score(MIN) IELTS-6 PTE-60 TOEFL-84 GMAT-550 IELTS-6.5 TOEFL-80 Other factors would include the actual program to be studied (perhaps one is better than the other), the locations of the campuses, activities on campus, housing, etc. After weighing all the pros and cons the student has to make the final decision. Keeping in mind your goals and what you want from your future you have to choose carefully and make the best of the option you choose.Read more

Ques. What are the chances of getting a Canadian visa if someone is going for a graduate certificate at Humber College?

    ● Top Answer By Admin on 13 Jan 21

Ans. Your chances of getting a Canadian visa depend a lot on the background of your education and financial background. Your travel history matters too to some extent. You must ensure that your tuition fee is at least partially paid if not fully paid. Humber College is counted among the best institutions in Canada so properly fulfilling all the documentations and meeting all the requirements won't be very difficult. The chances depend mostly on your educational requirements and how have you performed so far. After graduating from a program that meets the necessary requirements, you can apply for a Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), which may be issued for a duration equivalent to the length of your program or up to a maximum of three years. It is important to begin the application process as soon as possible after receipt of your graduation documents, because processing times can be lengthy at times. Graduation documents are typically available from Humber four to six weeks after the end of a semester. For example, students who complete their program in April should expect to receive graduation documents in early June.[2] Outside of Canada, visas can be acquired through your Canadian consulate, Embassy or High Commission. The length of time required to process your visa application will vary from country to country. You should allow at least one or two months, but be aware that processing can take even longer in some countries. If you currently have or are applying for a study permit, and you wish to travel in and out of Canada, a temporary resident visa (TRV) or 'Visitor's Visa' may be required, as a study permit alone will not be enough to enter Canada. Holders of a study or work permit may apply from within Canada for a new temporary resident visa. If your temporary resident visa is about to or has expired, then you can apply for a new temporary resident visa from within Canada as long as you have a valid study permit.Read more

Ques. Has anyone here attended Humber College or have some other recommendations for a business undergraduate degree in Canada?

    ● Top Answer By Prerona Datta on 13 Jan 21

Ans. In many ways, Humber College is a great place because of its program intensity and affordability. They also have very helpful and excellent professors so there is a good chance it’ll be a great experience for you. According to Webometrics, it ranked at #71 among Top Canadian Colleges in 2019.  Humber College provides a B.Com in International Business programs with a duration for 4 years and is quite affordable as well costing about $57,988. Humber emphasizes hands-on, career focused learning and provides you with a broad range of credentials. Here are some top advantages of going to this place: They offer incredibly intensive programs. You learn a lot in an incredibly short period of time. If you are willing to do nothing but study then you will get so much out of the program. Humber college is budget friendly and excellent for students looking for affordable degrees. Faculty is really good and they know what they are doing. It also has special Human Resources classes and personnel who help you create the best resume, get interviews and land jobs.  You have to work your way to the top at Humber to excel as a student. Get in touch with the professors and human resources to get the help you need to move ahead. You have to use your resources while you are there. However, you might not find many prospects there and might have to move to a better place to get a good job.  You can try putting in your resumes in different offices and locations so your chances to land a good job increase. Being an immigrant, you’ll also be facing competition from other immigrants who have graduated and are looking for jobs in a job limited economy. However it all depends on your needs and what you want for your career. A Humber education helps the students to take the classroom learning experience into the real world. These programs mix theory and hands-on learning, giving students the opportunity to gain practical experience in small classes and learn from expert faculty who have extensive industry experience. While Humber is an incredible college, it does not boast of the same reputation as a traditional four year college. This by no means is a jibe at Humber College. If you don’t have the money for a four-year college, rather than going into debt and putting more burden on yourself, you should apply for Humber and work your way up there.Read more
