I had applied to many colleges but at the end of the day, I had to choose one. So I searched for each and every college and according to my course, I found that Fanshawe was best. It has all the facilities and also it provides a bus pass for free, otherwise in other colleges, you have to take it on your own. Also, the campus had all the facilities from the canteen to sports.

Fanshawe College is one of the largest, most diversified and highly respected colleges in Canada. Fanshawe results on the KPI surveys exceeded the provincial college average especially in student satisfaction in terms of quality of service, programming and resources. For the past 5 years average of KPI surveys Fanshawe employed rate is around 85% and satisfaction rate of 81% (approx). The facilities offered by the college will help me gain experience be it social, recreational or my personal development. This program brings together participants from all over the world, so I would be in contact with diverse cultures and I would also develop an international network. It would be very rewarding to share and exchange thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are from different nationalities, cultural orientations and schools of thought on one platform.

Fees:

$10,519 per semester. No scholarships applied yet. Most of the scholarships available are can be applied after completion of our 1st semester so that we would have a grading and can apply accordingly. International student loan is not available, but if we have a co-signor it is possible but the loan will go under his name.

This college is in London, Ontario. My brother first came to this college. My sister also lives here. This made me go for Fanshawe. My brother had good reviews regarding this college. Moreover, having my elder sister nearby helped me a lot to settle in. London is a really peaceful city. There is less population so the employment rate is high. That's why I preferred this college.

Fees:

The tuition fee is around $8000 per semester. This college doesn't have many scholarships. There are quite a few, like if you have IELTS score of greater than 7 bands then you can get $500 scholarship in your first year. The procedure of applying for it is through online college portal. Student can log in and go to the scholarship link.

I have done a bachelor's in information technology from the sal College of engineering which is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In Ahmedabad, I visited the IDP career education fair where I got to know about Fanshawe College. Then I decided to apply to Fanshawe College for this particular course. Nowadays internet security is a main concern worldwide. My interest in networking architecture and security management lead me to apply to Fanshawe. I have also applied to the University of Windsor and University of Ontario Institute of Technology.

Fees:

The fee structure for one pg course of 8 months would be around $15000-$16000. They also offer fee structure in two installments. There are some scholarships also available to students. In every starting of a new intake, these scholarships are available for every student. The amount of these scholarships are different.

FAQs

Ques. Which is the best college to apply for a one-year construction management course in Canada, George Brown, Centennial, or Fanshawe? Do all three offer internships?

● Top Answer By Sumana Ghose on 13 Jan 21

Ans. Among these three, George Brown College has the most advantage in terms of their course and placements. GBC has the best connections in the industry of construction and building. This course is mostly 1-2 year long depending on your college and may cost anywhere from $17,904 to $42,113 . George Brown College has an edge over others as it holds the best industry professional faculties and grants a wide variety of job opportunities to its students.  Even their faculty are professionals from established firms and companies so if you work hard and leave a good impression, you might as well be hired for many internships and jobs in future. Centennial College and Fanshawe have an average reputation for this particular course- as compared to GBC the contacts are way too less and your chances to get a great job reduce because of factors like location and exposure. Here is a brief comparison of all the three colleges: Average salary of a project manager ranges from $ 89,400- 108,820 per year. The college ensures an excellent collaboration with the top prominent construction and industrial companies of Canada that include: Bird Construction, Aecon, EllisDon, PCL and many more.Read more
