Booth University College Admission Deadlines

International students planning to study at Booth University College must apply for either Fall or Winter intakes. Each intake has its own deadlines. The admission deadlines for 2022 are mentioned below:

Booth University College International Student Admissions

The following is the process of applying to the Booth University College as an international student:

  • Decide on the program: applicants are advised to first explore the degree, diploma, and certificate programs online to know their offerings.
  • Review Admission Requirements and scholarships
  • Apply: Applicants are required to log on to MyboothUC.ca, create a profile and complete an online application and also apply for residence.
  • Arrange for Transcripts Delivery: Applicants should arrange for all official transcripts to be sent to Booth University College’s Admissions Office, including high school and all college or university records. Transcripts should be delivered sealed.
  • Accept Offer of Admission with A Tuition Deposit: when the mail of admission offer is received, the applicant will be required to pay a non-refundable tuition deposit of 150 CAD.
  • Apply for a Study Permit.

The Official transcript is to be sent unopened to Booth University College’s Admissions Office, including high school and all college or university records.

English Proficiency Test Score Requirements

Booth University College's medium of instruction and communication is English. Hence, international applicants (whose primary language is not English) are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language through TOEFL/IELTS/ PTE or other equivalent tests.

Visa Process for International Students

International applicants are to apply for a Canadian student visa to study in Canada. Entering Canada as a student requires a temporary study permit, which can be thoroughly processed when such applicants have been given the acceptance letter from the university.

Booth University College Undergraduate Admissions

Booth University College accepts international applicants seeking admission into the university, provided that they meet the admission and entrance requirements for the programs they are applying for. The admission process and requirements for both international and domestic applicants (US & Canada) are similar, however international applicants are requested to meet some other requirements and work in line with some specified guidelines. Note: Social Work program, its after degree program, international transfer applicants have an entering CGPA of 2.5 or higher.

Ques. What is Booth UC doing to ensure safety of the Booth UC community?

Ans. The health and safety of all students is a top priority to the University College, so faculty and staff will continue to work in partnership with public health officials with regards to COVID-19. The Booth University College campus is currently closed to the public. All employees are working from home while essential service workers are around but observing the COVID-19 prevention guidelines to teeth at work.

Ques. Will fall classes still hold?

Ans. Yes of course, the Fall term will start in September 2020.

Ques. Since all IELTS Academic/TOEFL iBT testing locations are closed, what other exams do you accept that will cover the English Exam Proficiency requirements?

Ans. The Booth University College is temporarily accepting the Duolingo test as an alternative to the usual TOEFL and IELTS during the COVID-19 closure of test centres. But students must have a minimum score of 105.
