Other than that, some of the scholarships and awards available for international students include International Entrance Scholarships valued at 10,000 CAD is awarded to 20 first-year undergraduate students of the University of Victoria, who have a brilliant academic record.

Jane Zhu MBA Cross-Cultural Integration Award valued at 1000 CAD is given to 1 Canadian and 1 International Student in the final year of MBA program, nominated by the faculty, staff and students for encouraging and promoting cross-cultural awareness and understanding. Apart from this the students are encouraged to apply and receive the available scholarships to study in Canada.

Ritchie Foundation MBA Entrance scholarships valued at 1000-9000 CAD are available for MBA students and Margaret Lowe Memorial Scholarship valued at 5000 CAD is available for female MBA students based on admission application and the candidates are selected on merit of their academic excellence.

Work While you Study

Students registered full-time in credit-earning courses and have a valid study permit, and Social Insurance Number (SIN) can work on-campus for a UVic department, a faculty member, the bookstore, the library and more. Students in full-time courses can also work off-campus for up to 20 hours a week during regular academic sessions and full time during scheduled breaks.
