An undergrad's Review

8.2 /10

The way residence works to get into the medical school so it'd be easier for me to get a spot if I did my undergrad in the province and this is the better out of the two major schools in the province. In addition, it just seems like it has a vast selection of postgraduate options.

Course Curriculum :

If I'm being honest a lot of what you learn is all fluff and unnecessary. University is all about money at the end of the day and it honestly reflects in the quality of education; especially here at U of S.

Fees :

I pay for residence and opt to do it at a flat fee at the beginning of the academic year. The tuition is paid once per semester.

Examination Structure :

Way too long man. I have an exam on April 27. Exams began on April 6th. Plus if you have three exams in two days (the third being an evening exam) then you can?t get it changed or deferred. I feel like it is unfair personally.

Faculty :

It's very broad. Arts and Sciences in one is quite a massive scope and I feel like that if it were to be split into two faculties that would be a positive thing.

Hostel :

The staff is incredible and the location isn't too bad either. I intend to live in residence and not off campus the following academic year at the very least. The people are friendly too and the building is well maintained in the common spaces.
