I researched and found it best. I had searched about at least 30 colleges and compared their fee structure, their distance from where I was going to live and the cost of travelling. I also compared the courses these colleges offered and I found Humber college the best alternative. This college offered so many courses and the Business school in Humber is very famous and the graduates from Humber college are very much preferred by employers. I love business and want to study professionally about it.
Exams :
For getting into this program, I studied for IELTS and successfully scored 7.5 bands and then I prepared to come to Canada.
Placement :
The job opportunities are amazing and the job which I am doing is a way of giving back to the college. The tutoring service is free for students. I am also very much impressed by the career services provided by the college where they give many chances to students for finding a job.
Internship :
Yes, my college does provide on-campus jobs. In fact, I am also doing a job as a peer tutor at my college and my role is to help students through problems in courses in which I excel. Apart from that, my college also offers jobs at the international centre and other places as well.
Fees :
The fee structure is semester system and I paid the semester fee in the middle time of the current semester. For international students, the fees iare$1000 per course and each course are worth 3 credits. The tuition fee for my program is around $7500. My parents took loans to pay my fees and some of it was arranged by me. As for scholarships, international students do get scholarships and help from college.
Faculty :
They are all very good in their field of expertise and I love the experience so far. Some professors are actual businessmen and have a lot of experience in the business world. So, listening to their experiences and examples was mesmerizing and wonderful.
Hostel :
I lived at my relative's house for some time. On-campus, living is very costly and I cannot afford that. So till the time I got a job, I had to live with relatives. Then after the time I got a job, I started living with my friends in a rented house.
