It is compulsory to stay in hostel. Hostel us divided into OBH & NBH And girls stay in separate girls hostel. For initial 1 year you have to share room and after that you get assigned a single seater room. Hostel is very much comfortable here Every facility is available.
Campus life is very happening here. Though the gender ratio is a bit low but that being due to circumstantial requirement of the armed forces we can't do much about it. Every batch have about 115 boys and 30 girls each indian and 5 foreigners. There is no discrimination against anyone on any ground. Students from all over the country are there in every batch and we all thrive as brothers.

AFMC hostels are one of the best hostels in the college They provide the big rooms with washrooms And we also have washing machines and geysers And for recreational activities we have TV and also TT board which we can play whenever we feel like playing We generally pay 4000 for 6months

Hostel is a cumpolsory part of this college.The infrastructure is well maintained in all the buildings.Each and every facility is provided individually for each cadet.Cycles are provided.A bed with table-chair, is also given.
Many research works, competitions, almost all sports like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, hockey, table tennis, badminton, swimming, athletics etc occur here.Dance and dramatics are also clubs here alongwith debating, quizzing etc.Labs are in very good conditions woth almost awesome faciloties.

The admission process in Armed Forces Medical College is based on the score of the NEET exam. When the neet results are out AFMC releases cut off.
