CIP Ranchi Admissions

Selections at Central Institute of Psychiatry are entrance-based or on the basis of an interview round. 

For courses such as M.D and Diploma (Psychiatry), selections will be based on the score obtained in NEET-PG entrance examination. For M.Phil and PhD courses, selections will be based on an entrance test conducted by the institute itself followed by an Interview and/or a Practical. Whereas, candidates applying for Diploma (Psychiatric Nursing) will have to appear for an interview process only.

Ques. Does Central Institute of Psychiatry provide any scholarship facility?

Ans. Yes, the institute provides scholarships to some of the candidates like the selected students studying in the PhD and M.Phil programmes will get a scholarship of Rs. 25,000 per month. Additionally, selected students from Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing will get a scholarship of Rs. 2500 per month.
