Dharmamurthi Rao Bahadur Calavala Cunnan Chettys Hindu College was established in 1969 by the great effort of Sri Dharmamurthi Rao Bahadur Calavala Cunnan Chetty. The college is co-educational and affiliated to University of Madras. The college is situated in the Avadi Municipality area on the Chennai-Tiruvallur High Road in a campus of 30 acres. The college is privileged to have a railway station in its name just across the highway. The college has a highly qualified and experienced faculty that provides a realistic education experience. The college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

  • National Cadet Corps: The NCC unit of the college is one of the oldest among the colleges of University of Madras. The sanctioned strength is 160 cadets of which 30% is reserved for girls
