Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 Years Full-time MD Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
The candidate should have passed a bachelors degree  in MBBS minimum of 50% marks is eligible  from any recognized University. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

MGIMS M.D Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to a full time MD course, must have completed a Bachelor's degree or MBBS with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognised University.

Other criterias

  • Must possess a valid registration certificate of MBBS by MCI or any State Medical Council
  • Must have completed 2 year of rural service
  • For counselling, a candidate must have at least 50 percentile (40 percentile for reserved category) marks in NEET PG
  • Must be an Indian citizen

Selection Criteria

 Admission will be done on the basis of score of NEET entrance exam by means of counselling.

NEET PG Counselling

The counselling session for 2020 will end on March 25, 2020. Steps for counselling is given below:

  • Registration for counselling – Enter details including application number, roll number etc. on official website to register yourself
  • Exercising choices and allotment of seats – Select preferred colleges and courses in order of preference.
  • Seat Allotment – After completing the online process, students are allotted seats based on choice and merit.
  • Mock Counselling – It is conducted by MCC and choices can be modified after mock counselling
  • Choice locking – This is the final locking process which cannot be modified once submitted
  • Seat Allotment – Final merit list for seats allotted will be published on the official website. Seats are allotted based on merit, choice and availability
  • Reporting at college – Candidates need to visit the allotted college on the given date to complete documentation and fee payment formalities
