Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 5-year Full-time MBBS Program should have passed 10+2 in science stream. Admission is based on NEET-UG.

Course Details

SNMC’s flagship course, MBBS program is a four and a half year long program which is to be followed by a mandatory one year of internship.

The MBBS is divided into three phrases, namely:

  1. Pre-Clinical Phase: The duration is of one year wherein the students are taught subjects of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.
  2. Para-Clinical Phase: This phase lasts one and half years and focuses on subjects of Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology and Social & Preventive Medicine/Community Medicine etc.
  3. Clinical Phase: The final phase of the MBBS lasts for two years where subjects like Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, E.N.T., Community Medicine, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics are taught.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must have passed 10+2 (PCB) from a recognised board of education with minimum 50% for; there is a 10% waiver for SC/ST/OBC i.e min 40%
  • The candidate must be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admissions. The upper limit, under the All India Quota is 25 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST and OBC candidates
  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas citizen of India

Selection Criteria

  • The admission to the MBBS course of SNMC is merit based on the basis of the marks secured in the NEET entrance exams.
  • Candidates who clear the institute cut offs are invited for admissions
  • Once invited for admissions, candidates are required to attend counselling and book seats.

The institute Cut-off is the minimum marks a candidate needs to score, as prescribed by the selection board for the admission. A merit list will then be designed on the basis of these Cut-off scores.
