Agra College is one of the oldest colleges in North India. It was established in 1823 CE. It is affiliated to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra. The college has been accredited ‘A’ by NAAC. The college has Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Self-financed and Doctorate programs.
At the UG level, Agra College offers courses such as B.Tech. with five specializations, BCA, and BBA under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology along with a B.Sc., B.A., B.Com., B.Ed., and LL.B.
At the PG level, the college offers an M.Sc. in six specializations, M.A. with 10 specializations, M.Tech. in CSE, and an LL.M. for a duration of two years.

Agra College B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria
For admission to the first year of B.Tech. the candidate must have qualified 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in PCM.
For B.Tech. (Lateral Entry):
Candidates who have passed ‘three years Engg. Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh’ and he/she has passed three years Engg. Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering is eligible for admission to the second year in any branch of Engineering/Technology.

Candidates must possess a valid score in JEE Main or UPSEE to be considered eligible for admission to the B.Tech. program.

Agra College M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria
The applicant for M. Tech. programs must fulfill the following criteria:
- General/ OBC candidates, with 60 % marks in graduation in Engineering or Technologies are eligible.
- SC/ST candidates, with 55% marks in graduation in Engineering or Technologies are eligible.
For admission to M.Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering), apart from B.Tech graduates in the same branch, candidates having a degree of MCA, M.Sc.(Computer Science) with at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates are also eligible.
Selection Criteria
Admission to the M.Tech. program is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GATE.

Aside from M.Tech., the college offers various specializations in M.Sc and M.A. The college also offers LL.M in the field of Law. The PG courses are 2 years, full-time courses.
