The Placement Cell in Ethiraj College has been functional since 1998. It has been assisting students with recruitment into a reputed organization for their careers. The college holds an annual event called “BHAVISHYA”, which is a two-day career fair that draws prominent corporate companies to interact and deliberate on career options with students.

Some of the major recruiters of the college are Wipro, CTS, TCS, HCL, Google, Goldman Sachs, and more. In the 2018-29 internship, the students were offered a stipend of INR 17,000.

- Hostel: Hostels provided by the college are divided into 3 blocks where the rooms are on a 3,4 or 6 sharing basis. Students are offered vegetarian food that is served in the mess with the dividing system being followed for the mess bill. The students are provided with a library, newspapers, and TV in each hostel block. They also have access to games courts with the shuttle, badminton, and more. The hostel also conducts various functions like Freshers eve, Farewell, Vinayagar Chathurthi, Golu, Christmas, Pongal, and more.

Fine Arts courses are good. All the courses are available. We can apply for the admission application form from the Ethiraj College official website. There is no application fee. There is no Cut off .and no reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this group because I took Commerce and computer science. The faculty is so good and the members too. The teaching method is very clear and understandable. We have to pay every semester. In total, we have 6 semesters.

I chose the degree B.SC (advanced Zoology and Bio-Technology) Because I took Bio maths in HSC. in this college Around 4000 students. Faculty members are friendly. the teaching method is very understandable and good. Totally 6 semesters, we have to pay the fees every semester.

I got 95 percent in 12th so I was admitted directly by the college. I got the admission application form from the college. I have got a form on April 2016 and the initial fee was very low it was 3000.

I chose the degree because of I wanted to study the course deeply. Totally we have 6 semesters we have to pay the exam fee before the deadline 6 months once we have to pay the fee. It was very easy to pass when we study fully.

Honest review about Life in Ethiraj

Students are required to apply through an official website after the 12th results are announced. Based on the cutoff and caste criteria selection list will update. A total of 3 lists will be announced and in case of open positions after the 3rd list spot admissions are also given.

Faculty members are very kind and helpful throughout the 3years. They will help you as much as they can during the placements and also in internship. Clear guidance is given in prior regarding curriculum and requirements from students.
