The course curriculum, not limited to Chemical Engineering/Polymer Engineering, is one of the best in the state.
Kerala Water Authority - It was a very good experience working with the state government company. I really had a good time learning and experimenting with stuff. It was a non-paid internship.
There are many internship drives going on in our college. Many companies like EQ Technology come for placement as well as internships. For internships, they give a stipend of 35k for 2 or 3 months.
If you obtain good marks in JEE or AEEE, you can receive up to a 90% scholarship, and if you maintain your CGPA, it can be applicable for all four years.
We even have an intercollegiate sports meet, and a talented coach is assigned to students. One needs to show interest in all activities.
However, feedback from my hostel friends was that the security is good and non-veg is not served.
This was and continues to be one of the best institutions in South India, with excellent faculty, exemplary facilities, and amazing infrastructure.

Dislike

For the first year, the small room is shared among four members, and the food at the hostel mess is very, very bad.
For educational purposes, this college stands above all, but the rules are very strict. Non-vegetarian food is not allowed inside the campus, and neither are aerated drinks. We felt bad about the food.

Placement Experience:

On coming to the 6th semester we have campus placements. Campus placements have upto the end of the 8th semester. This year we have 96% of college placements. I think the perfect placements never come below 90%

Remarks:

They will conduct entrence exam. It depends on our rank. www.aoap.com We have good placements in this amrita University ,good college life,College life good friends, best faculty and sports. We have clubs here in clg like sports, dance , ???? , acting and anchoring.

Insider's review of Amrita School of Engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

While the teachers are PHDs it is not necessary that they might know how to teach. This being said there are some really good teachers that will help you out whenever you ask them. The student-teacher ratio is also quite right and so they will definitely monitor you properly. There are three exams in a semester 2 periodicals + endsem. Normally you can pass them if you study one day before like in any other engineering college.

Remarks:

The college accepts admissions through JEE and its own exam known as AEEE. Normally if you get around 2k-4k rank in their exam you can get the Computer Science branch. The B.Tech courses are 4 years as expected and courses like BCA BBA are for 3 years.
