On the other hand, students admitted to Grant courses have to stay in college longer. Due to a small batch in non-grant courses, there are good chances of getting the preferred major in 2nd-year. Fergusson College, Pune was set up for functioning from the year 1895 by the Deccan Education Society. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.
