Likes
- Electronics and Communication Engineering course is one of the best courses to choose in this college.
- It was from BSNL Kalyani. There was no stipend involved, but it was good to learn the basics of the telecom industry.
- The college has very good placement records. Many companies come to the college for on-campus recruitment.
- Campus jobs are very good; many companies come to college. The minimum package is 6 lakh per annum, which is the best.
- The infrastructure of Asansol Engineering College is very good, and there are separate buildings for every department.
- The hostel facility was good, but not the best, as there was no Wi-Fi available in my college at that time.
- My conclusion about the college is that AEC is good, but it can become the best if some of the rules of management are modified.
Dislike
- The course curriculum is the worst in this university as it was last updated in 2012. Students are debarred from the current market scenario, hence lacking the skills and techniques required to tackle the present job opportunities.
- The problem is that it is only for very few students because the company is IT and software companies, so the ME students feel very bad.
- We have to go to other colleges for jobs, i.e. off-campus placements. So, this is one thing in my college that I dont like.
- There is a tuition fee waiver for poor students who are below the poverty line.
- Again, they are giving away free books at the library, so you can save a bit there.
- Sometimes low on water, it has all issues with a lousy hostel warden who is really not a nice lady.
- The negative aspect of our college is that the wifi is not very good; it becomes slow sometimes. Besides this, the college drainage system is also not good. Sometimes, during the rainy season, classes are suspended because of the poor drainage system.

Placement Experience:
From 4-5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Wipro they made many offers here. The highest package is 5.5 LPA in the TCS job profile offered is data operator. 70-80% of students get placements. My plan after getting a degree is to work in software companies to do higher study.
Remarks:
Eligibility for this cour is 12th pass with a good percentage. You can apply online and offline also this application form is available on the college website from June to July there are no charges for the form. No reservations benefit there. No improvement want because the online process is good and easy.
Placement Experience:
For the core branch, it's a little difficult to figure out which company you should choose and which one will be better for you as both it as well as core companies are there for recruitment. So, if you're planning for a sudden placement after your college then please choose CSE, IT, ECE But if you want higher studies, a job in PSUs or another government job then please prepare for GATE from your very first year.
Remarks:
Eligibility is you should have a good score according to the cutoff of that particular year. And should have scored 60+ Percentage in the 12th boards. From jee mains and wbjee exams score you can easily get admission through the counselling process.

placement is too good.MNC Like-TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Genpact, ITC Infotech, Infosys, Pinnacle, Lumino Industries, Titagarh wagon, etc. 90% of Student Got Placed in the Electrical department. But you need to Focus on your study.

you entered Thus College under the exam WBJEE & JEE MAINS. after that exam, you checked your results. In counseling, you try to top in college list. after counseling results, you get to enter this college. Enjoy Your College Life.
Placement Experience:
AEC provides good placement opportunities, almost 70 - 75% of the students are placed every year. However, placements depend on the individual's capabilities and skills they acquire during college life. As this is a joint venture of JIS and techno India group so, Campus placements are held with the students of those colleges. The highest and average packages vary every year, last year it went 29 lakhs per annum. The top recruiter of our college is TCS. Many other companies like Wipro, Cognizant, and Rapido, also recruit students of our college. The college Placement cell is very active in providing us with opportunities.
Remarks:
The admission process was pretty relevant and smooth. Admission is done based on the individual's score in jee mains or WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam). I got admitted through the WBJEE examination with a relevant score. The application form is available on the respective official websites. Generally, the cutoff for CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) course goes to 25k in AEC.
Placement Experience:
The college offers campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. The placements are pretty good here. And some tech giant companies also come here for placements. The main recruiter is TCS. Other companies that come here are Cognizant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Johnson's etc. The highest package was 29.4 lakhs and the average package remains between 7-8 LPA. College also provides some kind of training for the candidate to achieve some technical or industrial experience for future use. Nearly 85% of students got placed. I am also looking for a placement.
Remarks:
Admission to this college is through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and JEE-MAINS. I gave WBJEE in 2021 and after the results were declared, we had to opt for a counselling round, where I got into this college. In my session, the Cutoff rank went to nearly 32000 for Computer Science and Engineering department. Students can also take admission here through All India JEE Mains. After the counselling round, the process of application was really smooth and hassle-free. We were given dates of registration and fee submission. I did not get any reservations benefit as I am from General Category, but there is reservation benefit and other scholarship facilities available.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good in our college generally company offers from minimum of 3 lacs to maximum of 12lacs per annum and also some of the companies who visited our colleges are TCS, WIPRO, AMAZON, E&Y, PINNACLE infotech solutions etc
Remarks:
First of all, we have to give the exam of WB JEE after that, we got a rank from that and according to the rank we have to choose one of the colleges and took admission accordingly admission process is Very normal.
