Likes
- I cannot name any, but every teacher here is very good and provides quality education to students.
- The companies that visit our college are Boeing, Wipro, Benz, Accenture, etc., which provide internship and job opportunities. To get placed, you should do some projects and create a very good resume.
- As informed by the seniors, the job placement in the college is very good, and a lot of companies will be here to hear the candidates.
- Inside the college itself, Syndicate Bank is there for the sake of students, and they provide loans with a minimized procedure. Since the college and bank have a good connection, the college provides scholarships based on merit, and government scholarships are also provided.
- The campus life in Bangalore Institute of Technology is very good with a lot of helpful students around.
- I stayed in the hostel. Not to say, but hostel life is the best in my life. We used to stay three in a room.
- Very good college. I think they have improved a lot now in terms of infrastructure.
Dislike
- There are no internship opportunities being provided in the college for students who have taken a bachelor of engineering, as the course does not support an internship due to its vast syllabus.
- The fee hike policy here is just ridiculous. It keeps on increasing by 5% every year, which is not suitable for any student and parents. There is no such scholarship for general caste students to apply for.
- Still, activities take place very often and very well for the all-round development of students.
- Our college hostel rooms are the worst to stay in. The accommodation is very bad with no proper facilities, and the cost of getting these rooms is very high. The hostel is in a deteriorated state, resembling the accommodation from older days. This is how it is provided.
- The bad remark is that the college is very happening, but the downside is that the college has a very small ground.

Placement Experience:
The college offers campus placements. The students are eligible for campus placements and internships. There are many companies that visit BIT amongst which TCS, Infosys are the mass recruiting companies.
Remarks:
For admission to BIT you need to clear COMEDK. Cut off have varied vastly from 2021-2022 so you may need to crosscheck from official data. The application process is easy but the counseling takes way too long.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I decided to choose this course as I had somewhat of a curiosity about civil engineering. Exams were conducted by vtu Many companies visited BIT. Includes structured learning activities that, in a real or simulated fashion, allow students to experience problem-solving and inquiry in situations that are drawn from their personal experiences and real-world applications. Develops students' abilities to make meaningful applications and generalizations to new problems and contexts. However, the faculty care less about students whether they understood the concept or not. They just come teach and go. As of now a maximum number of faculty have been qualified in the same college and got the job of professor but the senior faculty have more than 20+ years of experience in teaching as well as industrial experience too. The college conducts three internals and they would be in a time gap of one to one and half months the semester-end exams are conducted about 6 months from the start of the course.
Remarks:
The admission to First year BE courses in BIT is through three modes viz. KCET, Comed-K, and Management quota. The lateral entry admission of Diploma students to Second year BE is only through Diploma KCET. As you decide to get admission and go to college there will be staff that will guide you throughout the process they will make you fill out the application form and the fee structure will be given to you and the last dates are also provided to you. The fee structure for the k-cet seat is 1Lac per year and for management is approximately 3Lacs per year. The admission process should be less time-consuming as it takes a full day Or even the next day if the payment is struck other than that the admission process is very good.
