Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering offers B.Tech course in six specializations. The college also offers admission to B.Tech program through Lateral Entry.
Minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with at least 45% marks. Candidates applying for admission through Lateral Entry must have passed in Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc (Hons.) with 60% marks.
For admission to B.Tech program, applicants have to pass WBJEE entrance conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) or JEE Main conducted by CBSE.

Key Points:
- Relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ ST category candidates in the eligibility criteria.
- Candidates applying for B.Tech program must have passed English subject in the HSC examination with at least 30% marks.

Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering offers M.Tech course in two disciplines.
The candidate must have obtained B.E. / B.Tech in relevant discipline, securing a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.75. In addition, the candidate should have secured 50% marks in all examination.
Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE or WBUT PGET.

Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering Application Process 2023
For WBJEE, WBJELET and PGET entrance examinations, candidates must apply through the official website of WBJEEB. However, for JEE Main and GATE, candidate need to register at the official website of the respective conducting bodies.
- Go to the official website of WBJEEB.
- Enter Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name and Date of birth to complete the registration.
- Choose password and security question/answer and submit the application.
- An SMS/ e-mail containing application number will be and sent to the candidate.
- After registration, upload scanned images of recent colour photograph and signature.
- After this, pay application fee of INR 500 (Banking charges extra), the fees can be paid either by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-Challan.
- On successful completion of all the above steps, download the ‘Confirmation Page’.
- Keep copies of the confirmation page, admit card in safely.
