- I have chosen the Electrical Engineering department because I believe this course is highly regarded at my college and offers a wider range of options in my field of interest.
- Tata Steel offers an examination called WOM (Women of Metal) specifically for females. The internship program provides a stipend of rupees eighty thousand for three months and guarantees a placement in the company. This is an excellent opportunity.
- If one does not get a placement, then here is a very good environment for GATE, CAT, and PSU opportunities.
- In terms of the fees, I can say it is one of the best and cheapest engineering colleges, with approximately 17,500 rupees per year.
- Some labs are still using the old 1970s equipment. There is a sports club in the college to carry out all the sports-related activities.
- The hostel facility is too good compared to other colleges, and my rented accommodation is also perfect. My room is in perfect condition with no broken items.
- In conclusion, I would like to state that the college management was very good and quite helpful.
Dislike
- The course is designed for betterment, but the lack of teaching experts and environment makes it difficult to study.
- My overall experience is that the college is okayish, and stipends are available for poor, reserved students.
- Alumni scholarships are given to poor students and all girls.
- There is very little equipment available in labs, and even some of them have stopped working during the ongoing experiments.
- The food provided by the mess facility was not very impressive, especially because many students got ill from the food at the beginning.
- All is good, nothing bad, according to me 4 years is not enough time for me.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose chemical engineering because In gate most of the chance is that you will get a better rank because the gate students are in this branch all over the country. Facilities are awesome they know everything they are specialised in their subject.
Remarks:
We have to give jee mains exam and qualify for it. Then we have to seat in jeceb counselling then you have to come under 1000 rank to get admission in the college. After August, the form will release.
Placement Experience:
After the seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited in the college are Vedanta, Wipro, tata steel, Atlassian, Microsoft, hcl, etc. In my branch which is computer science, there was 100 per cent placement last year and the highest package was 44lpa.
Remarks:
Eligibility for the course is that you have to give JEE MAINS EXAMINATION and score at least 90+ percentile in this exam. The application form is available on www.nta.nic.in, the application fee is one thousand. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and gen ews students.
Placement Experience:
The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.
Remarks:
One has to clear JEE mains with approx. 90 percentile. The candidate must have a Jharkhand domicile. He /she belongs to any category and must give the certificate. The J.C.E.C.E.B release a form where students have to register and after a few days, there is a choice filling. After that one can get a seat. If anyone has a reservation category then he/she must need less percentile for admission. And he/she needs to pay fewer admission fees. The cut-off for gen is 90 percentile, OBC is 88 percentile, SC is 75 percentile and ST is 70 percentile.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Tata steel, TCS, Vedanta, Samsung, Amazon, and many more major companies visited our campus for placements. The highest package is 44 lakhs and it is offered by Amazon. About 90% of students are getting placed.
Remarks:
First, you have to give jee mains. After the results, you have to fill JUT form. But BIT Sindri has 100% reservation for Jharkhand students. The price of the JUT form is about 650 rupees. There are 3 rounds to be conducted for counseling
Placement Experience:
Placements are at par with eminent engineering colleges, with Computer Science & IT branches gaining popularity with high packages. Prominent companies like Tata Steel, JSL, Vedanta, Amazon, Samsung, etc., visit the campus and hire in double digits. The highest package offered was by Amazon of INR 44 LPA and the average package varies branch-wise, being close to INR 5-6 LPA. Almost all students get placed, but a major student goes for higher studies.
Remarks:
Admissions to BIT Sindri happen based on JEE Main scores. Until 2017, Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Combined Examination (JEECE) was used for admissions. Application forms can be found on the official website of BIT Sindri, www.bitsindri.ac.in. Reservations comply with the rules and policies of the Jharkhand state Typically the following categories get reservation benefits: OBC-1 (OBC Creamy Layer), OBC-2 (NC-OBC), SC, ST, PwD & SMQ (Service Man Quota) Fees for reserved categories and girls are lower, including student fund contributions. Further, reserved category and minority students can apply for e-Kalyan scholarships worth INR 30,000. Application fees vary from year to year, usually about INR 1000, including application and seat allotment fee Branch change fees during further rounds of counseling are charged accordingly
Placement Experience:
From the end of the sixth semester, one gets the chance to appear in placement drives. Here various core and technical companies arrive and offer handsome packages. A few of them are Tata Steel, Vedanta, JSW, Yamaha, and other companies' visits as well. More than 90% percent of the students get a place per year.
