You get to learn from a faculty that is very experienced and well versed in the course.
A very excellent stipend is given to students who secure the best position among Punjab or India students. Opportunities for scholarships are also provided to these students. This college grants a stipend ranging from Rs 5000 to 10000 to every student who achieves the first position.
I got an internship after one year at Times of India and gained valuable exposure in marketing and interacting with people.
It gives scholarships to students who do well in college or who are from a reserved category.
The sports here are the best and the cultural department is also the best in the college.
In the hostel, we provide AC and non-AC rooms. The rent is 40000 per semester. The quality of the mess food is good, but we cannot say it is better or very good.
The college environment and campus are very good. The best part is that they provide a good environment in the library, and the overall experience there is very good.

Dislike

Until I was there in the 2012 internship was not an option, but I am not sure about the current offerings.
The placement for the MBA department is very poor, as people usually prefer to directly approach companies for job opportunities. However, the situation is better for the Engineering department.
Our college provides scholarships for the SC/ST category and for students whose parents earn a salary of less than 2 lakh.
The food provided in the hostel mess is the worst, and we have to eat from outside hotels or restaurants as the food during dinner time is not even worth tasting

DAVIET OVERALL EXPIRENCE

Placement Experience:

Placements are good at IT and CSE levels of college. A total of 30-50% of students get placed at the College level. Opportunities for the core department were limited, Specially for the civil and mechanical departments.

Remarks:

Joined with JEE Mains Admission process on the web Portal. Joined through the Counselling process. The application form was available at the JEE mains Website, and Later counseling Date and time were shared over the email id.
