Admission :

This institution is affordable, conveniently located and attracts bright minds. The course is sought after, with good curriculum, and an opportunity to secure a good job. Admission happend thought KCET (during my time, 2010), a common entrance exam. However, I recommend going through the entrance test and merit process itself.

College management needs to be more student friendly.

The admission process is the common 12th Grade counseling held through the Anna University of Chennai. Usually students with above 90 percentile cutoff get to secure a seat at REC. Other than the academic quota there is also a Management Level allotments of seats for sports.

Remarks :

It is overall a good college to be at although not the best. There are students from everywhere that makes it feel not so great for the others. And there are also students from outside India. It's located in the town.

It provides 95% placements and maintains an excellent track record of it every year.  BVP ranks 62 among the top universities by NIRF Ranking 2020 and always provides 100% placements. Admission Process AIT: The primary eligibility criteria is a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2. The final selection of the candidates depends on the KCET/COMEDK UGET test scores. MAIT: The primary eligibility criteria is a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2. The final selection of the candidates depends on the JEE Main scores. BVP: The eligibility criteria is a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2.
