What students say about G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College - [GPREC]

Likes

  • This is affiliated with the university, so our college will follow the rules given by the university, and they will schedule everything accordingly. Therefore, we have a good course curriculum and experienced academic faculty in our college.
  • It was the best experience that they provided a stipend amount for them to continue their studies.
  • Placements are excellent, and our college even provides internships for students, as well as workshops. I have attended two workshops in my college and an internship from BSNL, which is in my locality.
  • Also, the college provides the Pulla Reddy Charity Trust for students who have a good percentage.
  • We are provided with excellent lab facilities and also with a great sports culture, having a 7-acre ground with volleyball and cricket courts. Additionally, the college provides students with a good indoor stadium and a well-equipped gym with all the facilities.
  • There is no hostel for us and the fees are the management fees. Also, the food is awesome, rating 8/10.
  • The college is very good and it focuses on the interpersonal development of the students.

Dislike

  • The faculty will give teaching by the projector or on the class board. It is not more difficult to pass the exams, but they are a little bit tougher compared to intermediate exams.
  • Our college doesnt provide any loan opportunities, but it provides scholarships for poor students. I didnt avail any scholarship, but our college provides scholarships for poor students for their education.
  • Very good studies, average faculty, good sports system; however, extra-curricular activities are going poorly. The practical knowledge is poor, and the system, where no smartphones are allowed, is considered the worst. Daily interactions are limited, and many girls are unable to engage with boys.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in their 6th semester. As per the 2021 passed-out students batch more than 1000 offers were made by the companies mostly from the IT sector. Around 90 percent of students who are eligible for placements have at least received a single offer.

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course: 12th. We can apply for the college via EAMCET counseling which is conducted by the AP government or we can join the college based on JEE MAINS results as well. I have joined this college in the OBC reservation category. I would like it if the college implements gd/pi in the admission process

Placement Experience:

Every year there will be a campus drive for placements. The students become eligible for placements at the end of 3rd year. The highest package is of 20LPA and the average package is 4.5 LPA, there are various roles appointed to them like developer, tester, automation engineer, etc, Almost 95 per cent of eligible students get job. If there are no offers then the college has gate coaching which trains for the core companies. my plan after getting my degree is, to complete Mtech.

Remarks:

There are three categories of the admission process. 1. Through the entrance exam EAPCET. 2. Through the entrance exam JEE MAINS. 3. Paid seat. The above entrance exams are written in your higher secondary school itself. Based on their performance, they will select the students by comparing and filtering the top-scored students. For disabled students, SC/ST/OBC, and any sports quota students are given some reserved seats.
