GLA Institute of Engineering and Technology (GLAIET) was established in 1998. It is a constituent Institute of GLA University and it is affiliated to APJAKTU. GLAIET offers multidisciplinary courses, viz. B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Pharm and B.Ed at UG level and M.Sc, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and M.Pharm at PG level. The institute also offers a Ph.D. program in full-time as well as part-time modes.
- Application form for each course is to be submitted separately. Candidates can fill the application form online or offline.
- Applicants who have applied for any UG course should pass 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examination from any recognized Board.
- GLAIET also offers B.Tech program in Lateral Entry mode.
- For admission to PG course, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline from any recognized university.
- Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of candidate’s eligibility and their performance in GLA Entrance Test (GLAET) conducted by the Institute for all the UG, PG and Ph.D. courses.
- GLAET is an online and offline MCQs based test.

GLA Institute of Engineering and Technology (GLAIET) offers B.Tech program in both Regular and Lateral Entry modes. Admission is offered on the basis of candidate’s percentage in 10+2 and performance in GLAET conducted by the institute. GLAET is an online test of 2-hour duration with MCQs.
To get admission in the B.Tech Lateral Entry course candidate must have passed B.Sc (PCM) or Diploma with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board.
The application form can be filled Online or Offline on payment of the application fee of INR 700 through Net Banking, Credit, Debit Card, Demand Draft or Cash.

GLA Institute of Engineering and Technology (GLAIET) UG Admission 2023: B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Ed. , B.Pharm, D.Pharm & Diploma
GLAIET offers B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Phjarm and B.Ed in various specializations on the basis of candidate’s performance in GLAET.
GALET includes MCQs of 60 minutes duration, which varies to 90 minutes in the case of B.Pharm and B.Pharm Lateral Entry. Candidates who have scored higher marks in D.Pharm are given preference during the admission to B.Pharm LEET program.
The candidates can fill the registration form either online or offline on payment of the application fee of INR 500 (for D.Pharm, Diploma in Engineering, Short Term Diploma and B.Ed.) or INR 700 for all other courses could be done through NEFT, Credit, Debit card, Cash or DD if applied through online mode and through DD or Cash if applied in case of offline mode.

- For the candidates who are seeking admission to Short Term Diploma course is selected on the basis of their eligibility. GALET is not conducted for Short Term Diploma course.
- Admission to Short Term Diploma course is based only on candidate’s eligibility.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to have completed 16 years (B.Pharm/ D.Pharm)/ 17 years (B.Pharm LEET) of age as on December 31, 2022.
GLA Institute of Engineering and Technology (GLAIET) PG Admission 2023: M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Sc, MCA & MBA
The candidates can secure admission in M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Sc, MCA and MBA courses in different specializations on the basis of score of GLAET. For the M.Tech courses, the candidate with valid GATE score will be given preference at the time of admission. Similarly, the candidates with high GPAT score are given preference during the admission in the M.Pharm course.

GLA Institute of Engineering and Technology (GLAIET) Ph.D. Admission 2023
GLAIET gives admission to the Ph.D. courses on the performance in the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by the universities or the central bodies (CSIR NET or UGC NET). The qualified candidates are called for interview round by the concerned departments for the final selection.

Application form can be filled online as well as offline. The students looking for admission in GLAIET can follow the given steps in order to apply for the different programs:
- The application form is made available on the college’s website.
- Candidates can fill it online or can download it.
- Enter all the Personal, Educational and Work Experience related details correctly and carefully.
- The candidates have to affix their passport sized photograph along with the xerox copy of Class X mark sheet.
- Pay the application fee of INR 500 for D.Pharm, B.Ed, Diploma in Engineering and Short Term Diploma courses and INR 700 for all the other courses.
- If the application form is submitted online the application fee should be paid through Net Banking, Credit, Debit Card, Cash or through Demand Draft.
- If the application form is required to be submitted offline the payment of the application fee should be done through either Demand Draft or Cash.
GLA Institute of Engineering and Technology (GLAIET) Scholarship 2023
- The scholarship is provided to the meritorious students of B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Sc and Ph.D. courses.
- The Social Welfare Department of UP Government awards the scholarship to the candidates of General and OBC category who are economically weak and their parents’ annual income is less than 2 lakh p.a.
- The Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) of UP Government provides the scholarship to the candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories who belongs to the economically weak background and their parents’ annual income is less than 2 lakh p.a.
