Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri B. Tech Admission 2023
Admission to B. Tech course is completely done on the basis of merit through TNEA counselling. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by Anna University and is done on the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Eligibility criteria to apply for TNEA is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks for general category, 45% marks for OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST/MBC/DNC/SCA category in PCM.

TNEA application process usually starts in first week of May. The mode of application is online. Candidates can register themselves through the official website
- Upon registration, candidates have to provide the personal information such as name, address, DOB, phone number etc.
- Then, candidates should pay the application fee of INR 500 through online mode.
- After submission of form, candidate have to take out the print out of the form and send it either in person or by post along with other required documents.
Documents required at the time of counselling:
- Mark sheet of 10th and 12th class.
- Transfer certificate of the candidate issued by the school.
- Class 12th admit card.
- Permanent community certificate belonging to ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC & BCM.
- Demand Draft, if applicable.

- Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee Certificate, if applicable.
