All courses are well-maintained and designed, and the professors are also very talented and dedicated to their job of teaching with honesty, making us understand each and every topic listed in the syllabus.
Students can appear for internships starting from the 4th semester and receive good stipends. They can also participate in research internships under the college faculty and receive good stipends.
The job opportunity in my college is very good for students in the software department.
The fee hike policy is very good, and the cost of studying is 1 lakh per year.
College life is always awesome, and here in Haldia, you will see Haldia fest and mela, which is the most beautiful part of this place. It also includes a mall.
The hostel rooms are well maintained and provided with a table, chair, and almirahs. Each room is shared by 3 students. The mess is very good in terms of food and hygiene. The hostel is provided with a playground.
This college is the best for Mechanical Engineering in West Bengal. For mechanical engineering, the college is best in knowledge.

Dislike

A stipend was provided there. Only 2-3 companies visited our campus, and they selected only a few students from our batch.
For mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical, the performance was very poor, with an approximate range of 15-20%.
I have neither applied for nor required any scholarship from my college, but as far as I know, some economically weak students were awarded scholarships.
The labs are outdated, and we are divided into groups. It is very difficult to understand and analyze the experiment if others are not supportive and sincere enough.
For the second year, we have been assigned TPS Hostel. The meal quality of the mess is extremely poor, and everything inside is excessively expensive.
The only bad thing, or I can say disadvantage, is that it is very far from the main city, i.e., Kolkata (approximately 140KM). It is the only thing where the college lags.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite decent. Around 100+ companies visited and the highest package was 14lpa and the average package was 4 LPA 90 per cent of student are getting placed I will also try to get a good placement or further education

Remarks:

Wbjee is the entrance exam and jee mains. To be found on their respective website. Counselling should be offline tfw seats available if there is good scoring. Management quota also available lateral entry also available jeletbexam required.

Placement Experience:

Placements at the college are fine. More than 90% of students are placed in campus placement. The average package is 7 lpa for its branches. The highest package is around 12 lpa on campus and the lowest is 3.5 lpa.

Remarks:

My admission process was through the WBJEE exam. I did the wbjee counselling in 2020 which was an online process. The overall process was smooth. I had to submit all my documents online and it was verified after which I got HIT in my second round of counseling.

Placement Experience:

The highest placement of this college is 12-14 lakh per annum and average placement is 6-7 lakh per annum 90-95 students get placed in this college with a very good stipend so many companies visiting this college like Mindtree, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro etc.
