What students say about HI-Tech Institute of Engineering and Technology - [HIET]

Likes

  • I chose this course to make money through freelance jobs and improve my programming language skills. I also plan to take on jobs after completing my btech. All the teachers here are good and have a high quality of teaching. Semester exams are conducted once a year.
  • I had a great experience in this company and learned the process to evaluate the performance of employees.
  • The placements were one of the best pillars of the institute as they provided students with all the required jobs.
  • Our college had a great focus on girls education, so our fees are 90000 per annum.
  • According to me, this college is the best in Ghaziabad or Delhi NCR because all the faculty members are well-educated and well-trained to teach the students.
  • If we are talking about the faculty, as I mentioned above, the college has done their best in terms of providing teachers who are very experienced in their field.
  • The beauty of campus life, along with the sports facility and the good placement cell, was very attractive and unavoidable.

Dislike

  • They didnt take any of the initiatives for students, which was very wrong from the students perspective.
  • This was very bad by any of the colleges by not providing internships for the final year students and pre-final year students.
  • The placement was very bad for both the civil and mechanical engineering branches in this college.
  • You have to pay extra, which is not so recommendable, because the food at the hostel is very poor.
  • I have looked at blogs and rankings of Providence College, and it doesnt seem too bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to do business in future and for business I do MBA and for mba we have to complete bba. The student-faculty ratio was about 40:1. Teachers are not so qualified but the method of teaching was ok.

Remarks:

Eligibility for our course is 12 passes with any stream of science or commerce. We can fill out application forms in college and the dates are till October. I dont avail of reservation benefits. Improvement in the admission process is to give admission to brighter students, not every student

Placement Experience:

Placement structure of this college was average. They are coming in the seven semesters, they start your placement. You should clear your background result for sitting in the placement. They allow applying to only 60% of students.

Remarks:

The admission process for this course was very good. Eligibility for this course is based on 10+2 and you should appear in the aktu examination. I find the application form in the reception hall and easily fill up and submit them. There are no reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in the last year of their course. There is a placement cell in the college which Brings different companies to our college and make it easy for the students to get placed in different companies with good salary. Average package - 3LPA, Highest package - 6LPA. The college provides security of 100% placement but I think it's 50%. I also want to get placed in a good company with a good salary.

Remarks:

My admission was direct without any entrance exam. The criteria were to pass with more than 60% in 12th standard with PCM for opting B.Tech. I have found the application on the college website. I applied in August and got admission in the last of September. If you are from st/sc or obc then there are no reservations in direct admission. But after admission, you can apply for scholarships and backward classes got more chances to get scholarships. The admission process was good and easy for the student. I don't want to make any changes to it.
