From 7 semester students become eligible Companies like as 1. HFCL 2. Optum 3. Humming Wave 4. Naini Chemicals 5. TCS 6. Tata Chemicals Approx a 2 Dozen Companies visited campus and around 100 placements were made Highest placement offered from on Campus 12 LPA by ZS Associate Off Campus of 36 LPA in D Shaw Average of around 7.0 LPA I am going to pursue my masters as I dream of getting placed in semiconductor companies like as Intel Qualcomm etc.

Remarks :

Being the top Engineering College under the Govt. Of Uttar Pradesh.Provides a good future opportunities. If you fail to get admission in some good NIT then rather than going for North-East NIT you can go for this college. This college has a good infrastructure all credit goes to newly appointed Director of Institute. All the facilities like as hostels libraries canteen have been revamped. I gave the UPSEE 2016 for getting admission in this institute and secured 2616 Rank ti get admitted in Electronics and communication Engineering branch. For this application generally comes in the month of April and May and exam conducted in Month of June.

I opted this course for doing research. This is the best college of Engineering of AKTU that's why I have chosen this college. On the basis of written test and Interview I have got admission in this college. I got admission in the Mechanical Engineering Department on 5th January 2016.

Ques. Which is a better AKTU college, IET Lucknow or BIET Jhansi?

Ans. IET Lucknow is the best Govt. college affiliated with AKTU. It is definitely better than BIET Jhansi from the placement point of view. In IET, Lucknow, the placement record for CS, IT, and ECE are great. While the placement for BIET Jhansi has not been that good over the past few years. According to the recent placement highlights the highest and median CTC offered at IET was 36 LPA and 5 LPA. Also, IET is situated in the state capital. So, you will have access to reputed coaching centers for entrance examinations like GATE, CAT, etc. Both the institute offers average campus and facilities. Overall, going by all these factors, I will say IET, Lucknow will be better. Read more

Ans. There are both pros and cons regarding the EI branch in IET Lucknow. The important ones are listed below: Pros: IET Lucknow being a recognized institute provides excellent exposure to the students belonging to the EI branch. They are directly in contact with the market and industries which gives them the practical aspect of the course. Seniors at IET Lucknow are really helpful and act as a good mentors with really good guidance. Students from the EI Branch are recruited by Tech giants such Wipro, AQ, TCS, Tech Mahindra and etc. If you are good at coding and programming, then you will receive great offers. IET Lucknow conducts lots of extracurricular activities to build up your personality and they vary in such a way that everyone can do something according to their interest. Cons: The professors in EI Branch are average in their fields. They have no awards in their respective branch. Students have to stay on good terms with the professors otherwise they deduct marks. Moreover, EI and EC are handled by a single department and EC gets more preference and support from the department. Moreover, IET Lucknow is a top-ranking institute and various students have topped in GATE. The competition is also low and you can go for it.Read more

Ques. Can we get HBTI Kanpur or IET Lucknow by just doing NCERT thoroughly?

Ans. HBTI Kanpur and IET Lucknow offer admission through a state-level entrance exam known as UPSEE. Some sections of the entrance exam have direct questions referred from the NCERT books. Check the following points for subject-wise preparation: Chemistry: NCERT books are more than enough as it has every little detail explained very well. Just going through it well enough will be more than enough in the exam. None of the questions in this section are outside of the NCERT textbook. Physics: For the theory part, NCERT will be enough however, for the numerical, HC Verma will be a good addition along with the NCERT syllabus. The papers given in the back of the NCERT will give you an idea about the numerical. Maths: The NCERT textbook and the practice book will be enough for the regular chapters except for the calculus part. You can also refer to other well-known books like S.L Loni will be useful. If your basics are clear and you have done enough practice for the exam, then you can easily score a decent rank in UPSEE. NCERT books will definitely help you cover all the topics in a simplified way and crack the exam. Read more

Ques. Which is better, IET Lucknow ME or NIT Uttarakhand ECE?

Ans. NIT Uttarakhand is the last choice of the majority of students among all other NITs. It has the lowest ranking, poor placement records, and no awards or academic excellence. It is considered a Tier 4 institute. On the other hand, IET Lucknow is a prestigious institution, especially for engineering students. It is one of the best UPSEE institutes in Lucknow. Moreover, it is considered academically strong and has earned good recognition. Ques. How can I pay the fees at IET Lucknow?

Ans. The payment for the fees can be done in both ways i.e. via online or using cash or a demand draft during the office hour in the institute. The tuition fees for the general B.Tech course are around INR 80,000 per year. The fee structure varies with the course but the payment stand is the same for every course. The hostel fee in IET Lucknow for a semester is around INR 15,000. Part of the hostel fee is submitted in advance as security. Mess fee for the hostel costs an additional INR 17,000 per semester. Students enrolled in the first year are allowed to pay through Demand Draft (DD) only. The fees can be submitted in the accounts division as a demand draft. If you wish to pay online, it can be done online via Internet Banking, NEFT, and RTGS. Read more
