I chose B Tech Electrical Engineering in JEC because its placement is very good in Assam, and its electrical department is one of the best in the state.
We learned a lot during our internship and are happy to be offered a chance.
You can participate in the campus placement if your result is good and can attend the campus interview.
Every year, 10,000 students are selected for this scholarship, and a significant amount is given to you monthly, based on your course.
JEC Infrastructure is good with no complaints. The sports academy is also good. In the evening, we can play basketball and go to the gym too, as well as hang out with friends.
In my room for study purposes, there is a table, a bed, and a wardrobe for storage, all of which are very clean and in good condition.
The Jorhat Engineering College is one of the best engineering colleges in the northeast. This is because it consists of well-educated and experienced mentors who give their best to help students understand the topics they are studying.

Dislike

There are very few placements available for the civil department, and even if they do come, there are none.
I didnt opt for any scholarships because I dont fall under any category such as SC or ST. Its really difficult to get a scholarship there.
Labs are not very well equipped and are overcrowded all the time as instruments are limited

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students get eligible for placements. Many companies make a visit. PSU jobs are the highest packages students get. 70% of students get placed. My plan is to secure a job in a good company or higher studies

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course is you need to be HS passed in a single sitting. Have a minimum of 60% Also, have to qualify CEE Exam which is held once a year. The form is available on the Astu website. Reservation systems are availed
