Admission to B.Tech and M.Tech program is based on State Level Common Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of state level common entrance test i.e. Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) or Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET).
The Admission to the M.Tech program is based on Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) conducted by the Government of AP.
Preference will be given to GATE score holders.
For the course of MCA and MBA courses, the candidates must have a valid Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) score.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering offers a four-year B.Tech program in various specializations. B.Tech admissions are done under two categories i.e. Category A’ and Category ‘B'.

‘Category A’ admissions are conducted for 70% seats through state-level rankings of AP EAMCET or AP ECET. AP EAMCET is an entrance test for B.E/B.Tech (Regular) while AP ECET is for Lateral Entry admissions in the second year. These tests are organized by JNTUK in an online mode.

‘Category B’ admissions are conducted for 30% seats under Management and NRI Quota. The basic admission criterion is rank obtained in JEE Main or Common Entrance Test. These seats are meant for NRI students and students residing in Union Territories and state other than Andhra Pradesh. After the publication of merit list, the counselling is conducted by JNTUK.

For Category ‘B’ admissions a candidate must secure minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 and should be an NRI or domicile of a state or Union Territory other than Andhra Pradesh.

User Facts:

AP EAMCET aspirants must have passed the class 12^th examination with minimum 45% in aggregate marks. Reserved category candidates must have secured minimum 40% in aggregate.
The candidates must have Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Vocational Courses as an optional subject.
Vocational Courses must be in the fields of Engineering and Technology conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education.

The college offers A two-year M.Tech, MBA and MCA programs in various specializations.

The admissions for the M.Tech courses are done through AP PGECET conducted by Andhra University. GATE qualified candidates can also apply for direct admissions while other candidates will be given admission on the basis of AP PGECET counselling.

Admission to both MBA and MCA courses is done on the basis of the score of APICET conducted by Sri Venkateswara University. The admissions are given through counselling considering state level ranks of candidates in the entrance test.

Application forms are available online only while application fee can be submitted in online as well as offline modes.
For AP EAMCET and AP ECET: The application form for AP EAMCET and AP ECET are available in an online mode only. The EAMCET application fee for engineering stream is INR 450 for all category candidates. For AP ECET application form candidates have to pay INR 500. Application fee can be paid using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking or through AP online centers.

Candidates applying under ‘Category B’ can obtain the application form from the college campus or the official website of the college from June 13, onwards. The completed form along with the required documents and DD of INR 1000 drawn in favor of “Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering”, payable at Mylavaram must be submitted in the college before June 20.

For AP PGECET: The cost of the application form for AP PGECET is INR 800 for General Category / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and INR 400 for SC, ST and PWD candidates. The payment can be made through the payment gateway, Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking in online mode or at AP Online Center in offline mode.

First of all, after completion of 12 h one can write the AP emacet exam and must get a good rank to proceed in the admission process. one's eamcet rank must be less than 15k to avail your preferred branch. The reservation is also applicable for backward students to get admission to college.

A Journey Through My College

Admission:

My experience with the college admisions process at LBRCE was quite smooth.To be eligible for admission, you need to write the EAMCET exam and secure a good rank in the respective department. For CSE, a rank below 15000 is considered good, for IT 25000, for ECE and EEE 30000, for civil 80000, and for Mech 100000. The application form can be obtained from the respective department or through the college website "www.lbrce.ac.in". The reservation benefits for backward students are also available, which is a good initiative to provide equal opportunities to all students. The website provides comprehensive information regarding the admission process, eligibility criteria, and other important details. However, there is room for improvement in the college admission process by making some small improvements, the process can become even more student-friendly and transparent.
