M. S. Engineering College (MSEC) was established in 2002 under the M. S. Educational Trust by Sri K. Muniswamy Raju, the founder President of the trust and Mr. Sudarshan Raju, the secretary of the trust. It offers UG courses in CSE, ECE, AI&ML, ME and Civil Engineering, PG courses in M. Tech-VLSI and Embedded Systems, Computer Science and Engineering and Machine Design. MSEC also offers Ph.D. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. All the courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka. The college is NAAC accredited, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, adopted an outcome-based education system and implemented NEP 2020. MSEC ranks in top 100 engineering college by Higher education review 2023.

Over the past 20 years, MSEC has grown into an institution of significance and is one of the leading institutions in the country in technical education by providing lab facilities and collaboration with leading industries and research organizations, providing an appropriate platform to the students for a real-time experience.

MSEC has received more than 2 crores of funding from DST, IEDC, VGST, AICTE and other leading MNCs in the establishment of a center of excellence and imbibing industrial culture among students. Library: The college library is a gateway to a world of Information.
