MANET Pune B.Tech And B.Sc Admission 2023

Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training, Pune offers B.Tech degree in Marine Engineering and B.Sc in Nautical Science at the undergraduate level. 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics(PCM) and; at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII to be eligible to apply.

It is mandatory for the candidates to have a valid passport while takin admission into the program. 

Selection is done on the basis of MANET CET (PERA) ot IMU CET scores.

PERA CET is a 2 hour test with multiple-choice Questions covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, General Knowledge and English grammar. For final selection, performance in 10+2 examination, medical test taken by Medical Practitioner and Personal Interview shall be considered.

  • Lateral entry admission will be offered only if there is an availability of seats in B.Tech. Degree Course.
  • Only unmarried applicants are eligible to apply.
  • The Upper age limit for admission relaxed for SC/ST candidates by 5-year.
  • Candidates must be less than 25 years, as on August 1 of the year of admission.

MANET Pune Lateral Entry B.Tech Admission 2021

The institute also offers lateral entry in the second year of B.Tech Marine Engineering. Candidates must have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in Mechanical/ Marine/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum aggregate marks of 55%. Students must have also completed Degree/ Diploma with at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII. 

Selection is done on the basis of Merit in the qualifying examination. Candidates who will qualify will be called for the interview followed by the medical test at MANET campus.

The admission process was quite simple. I had to register and fill out an online form on the college's official website with all the necessary details. An interview was conducted online and after a few days, I got an admission letter from the college for securing my seat. the provisional admission seat was secured by me by paying Rs 50k.

In order to do marine engineering course 60% in pcm and 50% in english is necessary. Application form , fees,structure of the course and application dates are can be find in the official website of manet. Till now addmision process is,same as before after filling the form you have to give manetcet exam then they will select you among all the students who gave the exams and then they will take a,mock interview on the basis of that they will select you .
