What students say about Maharashtra Institute of Technology - [MIT]

Likes

  • My opinion of the college is very positive because it is both good and beautiful.
  • The student who performs best in curricular activities and gets good marks on the test has a higher chance of an internship.
  • Our college is very good and has more availability for placement. The college provides internships and opportunities for jobs.
  • The fees are around 90k for each course, and we can make payment in installments, which is awesome in this college.
  • We had a BAJA and SUPRA event for mechanical engineering, which is a national event. Every college has its own team, and I was a member of my colleges team. We also secured a good position in this event and made our college proud.
  • An internet connection is provided, along with a cupboard, a bed with a beautiful blanket and pillow.
  • This is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra and the best college in the Marathwada region.

Dislike

  • Well, the placement and job cell is not very good; only 2 or 3 companies have visited our campus for hiring in the last 2 years. We all need to search for jobs off-campus, which is really the worst part of this College.
  • I didnt avail any type of scholarship or educational loan. However, I tried to get a loan from banks, but I was unable to obtain one.
  • The classes here have one of the worst benches, but they have projectors in each class. No sports activities are conducted in the college.
  • The only negative remark is the placement and job cell. There are no companies on campus for hiring students. Students really need to struggle a lot for placement.

It has good contacts with companies. Many companies visit every year for placement. College has a good placement cell. Around 70 to 80 per cent students get placed every year and college has the highest package of 12 lac

Remarks:

The admission process is through a centralized admission process that is cap rounds done held by the Maharashtra cet cell. The application form is given at the college after the allotment is done through cap rounds

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good in our college. Last year 80-90% of the people got placements and we also expect to get such placements. The average placement package is INR 2.5 LPA and goes up to INR 8 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are- Siemens, Reliance Industries, TATA steel, Tata Consultancy Services, etc.

Remarks:

The admission process was very simple for me after getting a good percentage in CET. There were 3 CAP rounds for the college selection so it was easy to get admission to your favorite college and after selection of college, they helped us to get admitted very conveniently. There are no entrance exams but it depends on your rank. Cut-offs vary every year they're displayed on the college's official website.

From the 7th semester, the students here are eligible for the placements. The college has got an average package of around 3.5lacs per annum and the highest package is around 7.5 lacs . Almost 80 % of students here are placed.

Remarks:

I got my admission in 1st cap round. I gave cet exam in 2022. In which I got 61 percentile. I haven't got any reservation benefit as I belong to the open category. I got my admission details through the teachers. The college provides teachers to the students to help in the admission process.
