Mahatma Gandhi Engineering College offers B.Tech in 5 specializations. The institute also offers admission in the second year through lateral entry. Candidates applying for admission to B.Tech program must have passed HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science with at least 45% marks.

Admissions to the B.Tech course is done on the basis of JEE (Main) scorecard. Of the total seats, 15% seats are filled on the basis of national counselling off JEE (Mains).

For 70% State Quota Seat, applicants having valid JEE (Main) scorecard have to participate in Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). Candidates not having valid JEE Main scorecard can also apply for REAP. However, preference will be given to JEE qualified candidates.

Mahatma Gandhi Engineering College Application Process

Candidates applying for the B.Tech course have to sit for the counselling conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU). Application form for the counselling (REAP) is filled online. Following steps are to be followed to apply online and to appear for the counselling:-

  • For REAP, candidates have to register at www.rtu.ac.in/admissions/reap by paying fees of INR 700 through online mode.
  • A unique login id and password will be generated; they have to use this login id for application form filling and further processes.
  • The applicant must also deposit INR 10,000 through the REAP website as advance fee prior to choice filling.

Candidates must get the following documents scanned before applying online. Scanned copies of following documents required during form filling:

  1. Scanned image of  photograph in jpg format (Size Maximum up to 100 KB)
  2. Scanned image for signature in jpg format (image size Maximum up to 50 KB)
  3. Candidate’s mark sheets of XII examination/JEE Mains scorecard.
  4. Mobile number and email ID of the candidate.
  5. Scanned copy of Acknowledgement receipt of Aadhar card, (if Aadhar card is not available).

Those candidates who have been allotted MGEC through counselling and those applying through management quota must report at the college with documents mentioned below at the time of admission:

  • Course Fees (balance fee after deducting the Advance fee deposited with REAP.
  • Provisional seat allotment letter downloaded from the REAP-2018 website.
  • Valid JEE-Mains score card (if applicable).
  • Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth.
  • Mark sheet of HSC.
  • Consolidated Grade/Mark sheet of qualifying examination.
  • Certificate of category (OBC /SBC/ SC / ST) (if applicable) issued by the competent authority.
  • Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
  • Ex- servicemen certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile certificate.
  • Self – attested Photocopy as well as Originals required for verification.

Admission:

The 12th percentage is above then 65%.and you can attend the exam from Rajasthan University of health science (RUHS). You can find it on Google. I don't know about it. No, I don't want to improvement in the admission process.
