Maria College Of Engineering And Technology, Kanyakumari was established in the year 2008 by Ave Maria Educational and Charitable Trust. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with the Anna University, Chennai.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology UG Admissions 2023

Maria College of Engineering and Technology offers Bachelor of Engineering degree course in five specializations and B.Tech. degree course in 1 specializations at the undergraduate level.

Candidates are required to pass the 10+2/Class XII with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in compulsory subjects to be eligible to apply for these programs.

Admission to B.E. and B.Tech. will be conducted by Anna University through Central Counselling Program based on TNEA score. Selection of candidates for TNEA  will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200(100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry). 

The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants marks in TNEA. Applicants will be called in for Counselling process based on the cut-off score set by the College.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology PG Admission 2023

Maria College of Engineering and Technology offers MBA, M.Sc. in 2 specializations, and Master of Engineering degree in seven specializations at postgraduate level. 

Candidates who wish to pursue M.E. degree courses should have a B.E. or B.Tech. degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with not less than 50% marks.

Candidates must be a graduate (10+2+3) from any discipline with minimum 50% or above in aggregate marks to be eligible for MBA program. 

For M.Sc. program, candidates should have a B.Sc. in appropriate branch or equivalent with not less than 50% marks.

Selection of candidates for M.E. courses is done on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE)/CET conducted by Anna University.  Selection of candidates for MBA courses will be on the basis of CET conducted by Anna University/MAT/TANCET score.

Admission to the M.Sc. program is done on the basis of CET Score 

The merit list will be prepared based on candidates’ marks. Candidates who clear the cut-off score will be called for the admission process. Counselling will be conducted by the Anna University and the name of the Candidates who clear the cut-off score will be forwarded to Maria College of Engineering and Technology to complete the admission process.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology Admission Process 2023

Admissions to all the courses are carried out strictly on the merit of entrance test conducted by the Anna University, through Centralized Counselling Procedure. However, candidates seeking admission must register themselves for the entrance exams through the respective official website.

CAP Counselling: 

  • Visit the official website of TNEA/TANCET/CET.
  • Register as new user and login with email id and password.
  • After that, candidates will have to confirm application form at the facilitation center.
  • Provisional and final merit list will be displayed on its official website.
  • In case of discrepancies, candidates can submit grievances during the display of provisional list at the facilitation center.
  • Candidates have to log in to fill and confirm online option form with preferences of colleges and courses.
  • CAP is conducted in 3 rounds and once college is allotted, candidates have to report to the allotted institute to confirm the admission.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology Application Process 

Maria College of Engineering and Technology application procedure is carried out in an offline mode. Candidates can collect the prescribed application form from the college or from the Administrative office. Candidates will have to submit the duly filled-in application forms to the College campus/office along with the required documents.

Candidates will also have to apply for the different entrance examinations as per the course they are applying for.

Here are the steps to apply:

  • Candidates can get the application form from the Admission office.
  • Candidates should fill up the application form issued and submit it to the college well in time before the stipulated time for admission as per the guidelines announced by Anna University.
  • Prospectus and application form can be obtained from the college or from the Administrative Office. 
  • Cost of the application and prospectus is INR 500 which can be paid by cash in person or way of a Demand draft. 
  • In case it is needed through post INR 500 should be sent by way of a demand draft or money order.
  • Demand draft should be drawn in favor of "Maria College of Engineering and Technology” Payable at Attoori.
  • All the duly filled in application form should be submitted/sent to the College Campus, along with the documents.

  • Self–attested copy of the provisional or original certificate of Class XII mark sheet.
