What students say about NBKR Institute of Science and Technology Vidyanagar - [NBKRIST]

Likes

  • Our course syllabus is updated every year, as the trends in everything change. With the advancement of technology, our curriculum also changes accordingly. We have the best.
  • There are a lot of opportunities for projects. I have internships at the college because of its excellent infrastructure and labs. The college has experts to solve each and every problem in it.
  • We have the best placement scenario with a maximum of 60 percent of the students being selected every year.
  • Scholarships are provided to students who have achieved a high percentage, while those who do not qualify in entrance exams like EAMCET are required to pay the fee.
  • It is superb at my college because they are always with us to participate in events, and sports are good at my college because I have received an award in cricket. So, I am very happy, and the labs are also good at my college.
  • The hostel facility is good, costing 50,000rs per year for both men and women. There are separate hostels. The food is good and hygienic.
  • Our college is the best for core departments, but it needs to improve the timings and infrastructure.

Dislike

  • From 2011, they ended their contract with SVU and affiliated with VSU (the worst university I had ever seen). They changed the syllabus.
  • The projects are also not effective enough to gain knowledge on the core subjects, and the experience gained from them is not effective enough as an engineer.
  • Very poor placements with a limited number of unknown companies. This placements department is the worst that I have found. There have been zero placements until 2012.
  • Finally, the college management is the worst. They do not prioritize the development and welfare of the students. The bad situation is due to the negligence of the clerks in my college. Not only did the students receive incorrect details in their marks memos, but they also played with the lives of the students.

Placement Experience:

There are a lot of plans are there to join the company or higher studies a lot of confusion is there in mind but we get the best avg placement of 40000 per annum. 75 percent of students applying for placements.

Remarks:

So, I wrote the ecet entrance exam. After qualifying in the entrance exam joined through lateral entry in btech of CSE. In nbkr institute, I was glad to get a seat in this college, there is good teaching and best ecosystem, friendly nature I loved it.
