Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) was founded in the year 2006 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. NIET is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
The institute offers BE, ME, MBA and MBA courses at UG and PG level.
- Candidates can apply online and offline for admission into any UG/ PG course offered by the college. Application form could be filled online and could be collected from the Admission Center of the college in person.
- Application fee could be paid in cash or through Demand Draft.
- Applicants who have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when calculated together are eligible to apply for BE admission.
- Candidates who hold BE/ B.Tech degree in the concerned discipline are considered eligible to apply for ME admission.
- Students who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any AICTE approved University are eligible to get admission into MBA/ MCA program.
- Admission to the candidates into BE course is given through TNEA counselling and admission in ME, MBA and MCA programs is given through TANCET.
