Likes
- The faculty members of the college are mostly very experienced and helpful (although favoritism is prevalent).
- Many internship programs are organized by the college, providing 3-6 weeks of either online or offline methods. However, the offline experience is considered the best for students.
- According to your specialization, the college will refer you to the companies that are best for your career.
- If you have a good percentage at the HS level, you can apply for and receive a scholarship.
- The campus life is so good today. I still miss those days of my college campus, the lectures I bunked with my friends, and the games we used to play in the side field of our college. Just speechless.
- All the rented PGs and messes are located near the college, and the environment of the locality is very good.
- I chose this college because my sister also attended this college, and this department has the best faculty.
Dislike
- Labs are in a pathetic condition with a lack of teaching skills, and the old methods are followed with minimal syllabus coverage in the respective branches. This is not suitable for the core branches because, in the end, you will have to look on your own.
- The college performs very poorly in this sector, does not provide any help in securing internships, and forget about a stipend; you have to choose internships on your own.
- The placement records of the Civil Engineering Department are very bad, but IT companies and marketing companies frequently visit TECNHO GROUP.
- There was no fee hike for 4 years, but one of the worst things is that we didnt receive the security money even after completing BTech.
- There will be one inter-college sports tournament. In our college, there is a football team, a cricket team, and a volleyball team. The labs of every department are in a very bad condition.
- There is no hostel in my college. Its all fake news on the website of Netaji Subhas Engineering College. It is written with college plus on the prospectus, also its written with hostel, but theres no hostel.
- Also, the location of this college is not good, and the road network up to this college is pathetic.

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for college placements. Many offers are made by big companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 22lpa and the average package is 5lpa. More than 80% of students are placed.

Eligibility is you have to get at least 60% in class 12th. The application form is available on the official website of website. Some institutes do scams during admission. It creates a problem for many students. It should be avoided.

NSEC offers one of the most greatest packages among all the tier 3 colleges in west Bengal on campus. even amazon and Microsoft have also come in the time of campusing. and there are lots of clubs and teachers to help with skill development. so even for an avg student. It won't be too hard to get a job on campus.

For this course in NSEC, I cleared WBJEE with a 21880 Rank and got admission in B.tech on Information Technology, in WBJEE counselling process was seamless and being a student from the general category and the college being a private college that's why there is no reservation. The only improvement that can be expected from my side is that the whole counselling and admission process should be done earlier than it happens every year it helps the students to start preparing for the course.

I'm in the first year so I don't know everything about the campusing process yet. But from what I've heard, students become eligible for placements from 3rd year. The placement record of the college is very good. Companies like Wipro, cognizant, and TCS visit the college. Almost all the students get placed in the non-core branches.
Remarks:
I appeared for the WBJEE examination by filling out the form available on the WBJEE website after passing the class 12 boards. Then I was allotted IT of NSEC in 2nd round of WBJEE counseling. The WBJEE Counselling process took me a little while to understand.
Placement Experience:
The placement record avg is 600000-700000 LPA. Many companies visited our college and give high packages and jobs. There are so many opportunities to get placement. If you want to get the off-campus placement you are eligible.
Remarks:
I am admitted through WBJEE. Cutoff of Computer Science Engineering - 14000. Informational Technology - 22000. Artificial intelligence and machine learning-25000. Civil- 35000. Eligibility is Webjee/ jee main/direct admission.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester the college Faculties will start mentoring each and every student for placement. Many students got their dream jobs in the 3rd year only. The highest package is 48 LPA AND the average package is 6-7 LPA. Maximum students are hired by TCS , WIPRO COGNIZANT IBM ETC. Mostly more than 90% stude6 get the job to be honest.
Remarks:
The admission process is merit-based, how much you scored in wbjee. Also, the admission process takes place through jee mains. The document verification process is very strict. You should submit your documents in original for scanning and the college authorities will keep the photocopies of that documents to them.
