What students say about New Horizon College of Engineering - [NHCE]

Likes

  • Excellent infrastructure and awesome faculty have made this campus one of the top 4 in Karnataka. I strongly believe this after witnessing the teaching methods of my instructors.
  • There are many projects created by the students that are considered during their interviews and all!
  • Placement is awesome in our college. There is a separate section specifically dedicated to placement, where they train students to build confidence during the placement process.
  • The fee structure is very good; it is affordable and the best price for a student who wants to pursue a degree in this field.
  • The extracurricular activities performed by the students of this college are good. They have their football and basketball teams, as well as a cricket team. They also have a fashion team, and during my time, the drama team was the best.
  • Hostel rooms are well equipped and furnished. We have Sodexo, a well-known company, to provide meals. It is suitable for both North Indian and South Indian students. Additionally, we have a cafeteria, Sodexo canteen, Cafe Coffee Day, and Five Star Chickens on our campus.
  • The college management always brings us the best faculties, infrastructure, crash courses for preparations, and helps provide whatever improvements students ask for.

Dislike

  • They don't provide internships. As a replacement, they offer some internship opportunities called Placements from the college management. However, these opportunities are not satisfactory as most of the companies are primarily focused on sales.
  • It was a really tough and rough road in placement as only 50 students were taken by a mass recruiter out of 400 students.
  • I did not take any education loan, but you are going to take direct admission. It is hard to get the loan because there is no test for direct admission and other state students.
  • It was a mixed feeling. Personally, I feel that the students here are very bad, and they are here only to bully.

Placement Experience:

By the start of the 5th sem students are eligible for campus recruitment training, different companies train students in order to give better knowledge on how to get into their desired field of work, Overall nice.

Remarks:

It was pretty clear and simple, the application form was very easy to fill out, few questions before admission which were too easy. Overall it's a simple and easy process for a student to join. The application form is available online and the fee structure is pretty good. At the start of sem applying gives more benefits.

Placement Experience:

There are nearly 100 companies busted to our campus every student has got 2 offers in the 2022 batch the highest national package is 20 LPA and the international one is 28 LPA. 95 percent who opted for placements got placed. Just going to a job.

Remarks:

12th Marks is the major eligibility for out side Karnataka students. For Karnataka students, CET is the entrance. After the CET results, they need to apply to the college and they need to mention the course. There are no Reservations for me.

Placement Experience:

I'm in computer science engineering so our batch has 95% of placements and the remaining have options to study for higher education. In other branches it will be less compared to computer science engineering overall 70-80% of placements will take place Currently, I'm in the IT industry and fulfilling my responsibilities

Remarks:

I can tell you that the admission process varies depending on the institution and the level of study. For higher education institutions, the admission process typically involves submitting an application, transcripts, test scores (such as SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.), letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. Some institutions may also require an interview as part of the process. Cutoff scores or grades required for admission can vary greatly between institutions and may change from year to year based on factors such as the number of applicants and the level of competition. It's best to check with the specific institution for the most up-to-date information on their admission requirements and cutoffs
