Prem Prakash Gupta Institute of Engineering and Management is a pioneering engineering institute located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2009 by the 'Prem Prakash Gupta Charitable Foundation'. The institute is affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow.
PPGIEM offers four B. Tech programs in the fields of Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical and Communications, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree program in BBA and BCA. The institute also runs MBA with specializations in Finance, Human Resource, Information Technology, International Business and Marketing.
- Only online mode of application and fee payment is allowed for UPSEE candidates.
- MBA candidates can also apply with CAT/MAT score, in the case of which applicants are required to attend the UPSEE counselling.
- Management quota candidates can apply directly through the institute admission process.
- B. Tech candidates must pass 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
- Candidates seeking admission to BCA and BBA programs must pass 10+2 with 45% marks.
- For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks.
- Management quota candidates need to pass the last qualifying exam.
- B. Tech, BBA and BCA candidates are selected on the basis of their respective UPSEE score.
- MBA candidates are selected on the basis of their CET (CAT/ MAT) score.
- In the absence of CET score for MBA admissions, candidates are selected based on their UPSEE rank.

Prem Prakash Gupta Institute of Engineering and Management offers undergraduate level degree programs in the field of engineering, business administration and computer applications. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the B. Tech program is a pass in 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
As for the BBA and BCA programs, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 in any stream. For admission to BCA program, candidates must fulfil the additional eligibility criteria of having Mathematics at 10+2 level. Candidates are selected on the basis of their respective UPSEE score.

Prem Prakash Gupta Institute of Engineering and Management offers MBA program at the postgraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this program is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of MAT/ CAT score.
Candidates applying for the MBA program can apply through UPSEE counselling using their CAT or MAT score. In the event that a valid CET score is absent, candidates must take the entrance test conducted by UPSEE for MBA admission.

Prem Prakash Gupta Institute of Engineering & Management accepts applications from eligible candidates through UPSEE and its counselling. The detailed process of application for admission to its various programs is as follows:
- Candidates applying through UPSEE can apply by visiting the AKTU website and filling the online application form.
- Online application forms can be submitted from January 18, 2021 (11:00 AM) to February 28, 2021 (05:00PM) through official website of UPSEE.
- The candidate must opt for PPG Institute of Engineering and Management as the preferred choice of institute while filling the application form.
- Application fee can be paid online via credit/ debit card or net-banking. No other mode of payment is allowed.
- Candidates should keep the printout of the application confirmation page for record. They are also advised to note down the Application Form Number for any future correspondence.
- All candidates must appear for the entrance exam (UPSEE) and should secure the minimum cut-off marks to be eligible for counselling and seat allotment.

Scholarships
Scholarships are offered to meritorious students by the Prem Prakash Gupta Charitable Foundation trust. The Scholarship will be awarded upon qualifying GD and Interview conducted at the institute level as per the following norms:
- A Scholarship of 50% of the prescribed fees will be awarded to all the students securing 75% and above in graduation. A relaxation of 5% in the marks obtained will be given to the female applicants in this category.
- A Scholarship of 15% of the prescribed fees will be awarded to all the students securing 65% and above in graduation.
- A Scholarship of 10% of the prescribed fees will be awarded to all the students securing 60% and above in graduation.
