Ques. Which should I choose: PESIT CS or RVCE CS? Will a VTU degree carry more weight than a new university, although it’s famous for coding culture?
● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 29 Sept 21
Ans.Last year my brother had the same option between these two institutes. He opted for CSE at PESIT, owing to its brand existing credibility among Bangalore's leading tech firms.
PES University has great industry-wide potential. When it comes to hiring outstanding talent, it is still the first choice for many of Bangalore's top companies. According to the recent placement highlights the median CTC offered at the institute is 6 LPA.
PES will also offer you excellent faculties, great research culture, and a good peer learning experience.Read more
Ques. Which college is best for mechanical engineering: RV College Bangalore or Thapar University Patiala?
● Top Answer By Monika on 10 Aug 21
Ans.Having known some people studying in both these colleges, I can say that both RVCE and Thapar University are equal in many aspects.
If I have to point out differences then the academics, course curriculum and faculty are better in Thapar than RVCE.
Placements wise RVCE gets the benefit of its location, being in Bengaluru and therefore lots of companies visit there. Students are provided with industry visits, seminars and internships.
Even though the placement cell of Thapar University manages quite a lot of firms, the opportunities are more in RVCE, Bengaluru.

Ans.Among the choices given in the question, it is always advised to choose the stream of your choice. Although the college also plays an important role.
NIT Surathkal provides excellent quality education in all streams of engineering. Considering the fact of education, it is better to choose NIT. Students in NIT Surathkal receive excellent exposure for their future careers.
Considering the placements in NIT Surathkal, there are few core companies that visit the metallurgy branch, offering decent packages to students. But, for them, you need to maintain a static decent CGPA score and have good knowledge in the field.
