What students say about RVR and JC College of Engineering

Likes

  • EEE is one of the leading sources in the ENGINEERING WORLD. It has a syllabus on Electrical instruments, motors, generators, and how to develop and distribute power. The faculty for this course is very good, with highly experienced individuals teaching.
  • There are magnificent laboratories for every branch. Well-educated and talented management and faculty.
  • The placement and job opportunities are quite good, and the best companies such as TCS and others recruit as many students as they can. Every year, about 600+ students are recruited in TCS. Many students are also recruited by Amazon and Microsoft.
  • If you want a loan, they will provide it for the best students. Every year, we receive up to 500,000 scholarships.
  • There are a lot of labs in the college for which the college is best known.
  • Room facilities are good. The food is very nice. The registration process is too easy. The response of the facility and staff members is nice. There is a hostel facility from the college, which is walkable. The hostel was excellent.
  • Its very good to be a part of this college and it helps me to grow throughout college life. I am very happy with the college environment and advise students to join this wonderful college.

Dislike

  • Our college does not provide any internships, but they do help the poor and meritorious students with scholarships. However, the gate rankers will still receive the stipend as usual.
  • My college did not provide many placements to the students. Only a few members got selected in TCS company, and the remaining people had to search for their job through off-campus. This is the only negative thing about my college.
  • The college will give a scholarship to poor and meritorious students annually, and the amount will be 20000. The students are eligible only if they havent received any scholarship from the government.
  • At other times, no student should roam around the campus. If they are caught by anyone, they have to explain the reason behind their roaming.
  • The meals in the hostel were terrible and the registration was normal. You have to pay cash or pay by mobile to a given account.
  • Any negative comments about my college, except for the fact that I feel the annual fee is a little expensive.

Placement Experience:

The students of the college are eligible for placements from the 6th semester which is in the 3rd year. There are many companies that visit our college every year like Amazon, TCS, CTS, Modak electronics, etc. Almost 70-80 percent of the students are placed in campus placements.

Remarks:

Need to get a good eapcet rank to find admission to this college. The cut-off for Electronics and Communication Engineering at our time was around 12000 for the general category and around 20000 for OBC and other categories.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really very good here. Each and every student completes his/her graduation with a placement offer. 100% of placements are there. The highest package is 50.5 lakhs per annum. Best companies visit the college.

Remarks:

A better rank in eamcet exam is needed to get admission. There are reservation benefits for sc, st candidates. In my opinion, reservations should not be there in the admission process. So this is the only improvement I think is needed in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, every student becomes eligible for campus placements. Almost 25+ companies visited with approx 100+ offers in our mechanical department. There is very good placement in the fields of computers in our college.6 lakhs are the highest package and 2 lakhs is the least package provided this year for our seniors. The profiles offered are assistant developers and assistant managers etc. 65%students get placement on average. I want to work for a short period and want to start my own profession related to my course of study

Remarks:

I entered by applying eapcet entrance exam conducted by the ap government cutoff mark for mechanical engineering is 50 marks. Then you are eligible for fee reimbursement provided by the government. Very good in the admission process
