I chose B.Tech. Information Technology because I had so much interest in the various technology that is present in the modern world and it urged me to learn about it in a more detailed way. When it comes to the faculty-student ratio, I'd say there is at least one faculty for every 5 to 10 students. Almost every faculty here are qualified professors and the others have submitted their theses awaiting confirmation from the higher officials to turn them into professors officially. But there is strictly no hierarchy because every student can freely interact with their professors, both in terms of academics as well as personal matters. Simply put, the students and professors here, including our Head of Department(HoD) are more or less like friends. When it comes to the part of the exams, I would say the courses are not too easy are too hard, but they are easy to be understood, and the exams are set to be challenging for the students so that they can learn in all aspects of the subject.
The fees structure is transparent and moderate. SSN does not ask for any donations. It is purely merit based. Our college accepts fees through Cheque, DD, or PayTM. For students who enter through Anna University Counselling, the fees is about ?30, 000 lesser than people who enter through entrance exam.
Yes. The curriculum is set by Anna University as SSN is an affiliated college. Apart from syllabus, we learn quite a lot. A lot of workshops will be conducted every month and students can opt to become members of societies such as IEEE. The college even provides funding for student teams to carry out projects and even publish papers. Industrial Visits are allowed for the students of 2nd and 3rd years.
The fee structure of my college is not too expensive and too feasible.it is different for different courses.one more thing if you are not able to pay fees than here is option to reduce fee.
There are too many courses available here like B.A in economics.as i am completing B.a in economics this year.and besides of this there are also other courses available here to study for like B.A in politics.
The course curriculum is quite good and tests the students thoroughly in all aspects. But only drawback is that there are quite a few outdated courses when I was studying. But I think now that our college has become a deemed university, the course curriculum must be quite different than what I was studying under Anna University.
The program fee is around 2 lakhs for undergraduate program. The college accepts payment of fees thourough DDs, cheque, Paytm too. The college fee is pretty feasible and worth it when compared to all other institutions. There is transparency in the fee structure and the college does not demand any hidden fee from the students.
The course curriculum is so designed perfectly that what the student studies in the classroom can be experienced by him or her in the lab simultaneously. But the syllabus needs to be updated to the industrial requirements. It is the only drawback of it. Students are taken to industrial visits starting from second year to anywhere across the country.

I chose SSN because of the following reasons: STATE OF THE ART INFRASTRUCTURE TOP-CLASS FACULTY with lots of experience in every area AMAZING campus with a lot of scope for academics, sports, and cultural activities as well 4. NO RULES regarding the dress code 5. AMAZING PLACEMENTS when you come into the final year 6. SUPPORTING EVERY STUDENT in both academics as well as other areas too. You will have the best four years of college than you can ever imagine in your life and it is highly impossible to bid goodbye to SSN when you complete your course. When it comes to bad aspects, I don't see anything that is very bad. Only the MESS FOOD will be average but you can opt-out of it anytby VIKAS HARIHARAN
They give us good education and staffs are friendly The mess food is very bad and the fees are high. The admission is only through merit and after the counselling is over you can come and join. The staffs are friendly and we can learn everything in a practical manner so prefer this college.by Gracelin deepa
On the whole, SSN is a great place to study and to grow. The college management is wonderful and has a clean track record. We don't have complaints at all. They're really helpful.by Akshya R
