Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering is a private Institute established in 1963 and affiliated with VTU Belgaum. The College has been approved by AICTE and NBA and has been ranked at #151 by NIRF 2019. The campus is spread over 117 acres of area.

SJCE is known for its flagship BE course and admission is strictly based on inter-se merit of the qualifying exam. The Institute accepts a valid KCET score followed by counselling rounds for BE admission. The KCET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted between August 28, 2021 and August 30, 2021.
